I'm confused. Why ext4 and swap didn't worked?
1.-I sd partitions in partition magic with wizard
2.-insert the sd in the phone
3.-A2SDGUI not detect partitions ...
4.-I put the phone as a disk drive and partition wizard detects me 3 partitions.

I suppose you are off to the recovery

Boot to recovery and try to activate ... phone will not leave me with adb shell .... or a2sd - enable or data2ext - enable

Maybe it's me who can not activate .... or this confused.

1. make sure you have clockwork recovery

2. nandroid backup/titanium backup and others for messaging or contacts

3. wipe everything

4. install the rom

5. good luck!

I'm not sure if the rom can be the reason for that.

Because it's written for broadcom chipsets...

Realy, i don't get this? :)
@ogo2

So basically what you are saying is that a new kernel module is needed to support the fm chip because the current one is not compatible with the broadcom ones.

Do we have the knowledge to reverse engineer the stock/old kernel where the FM app does works and port its functionality to the current kernel?

Backporting the old kernel for Sense 2.1 is far beyond my powers. :)

We don't need a kernel module. Just someone to know how to hack the FM app and libs...

You didn't even read the first post! SpiritFM radio works.. There is no default one.
Just for the record : I've read the first post. But from my point of view, that's just that SpiritFM radio works on this ROM 'if you want' (maybe there was a bug in previous ROM releases with that program), not that there is no default one.
There's not mentioned anywhere, so I posted my question.

But thank you for the confirmation : there's no default FM Radio app.

Few questions, please
1. What other kernels can I use instead of the one in this ROM?
2. Will a different kernel function well this ROM?
3. Is it worth switching kernels?
4. Is it worth upgrading to RC4b or should I wait for a newer build? When will it approximately come- the newer build?
5. Stupid question, why is it still in RC stage?

Hi, guys.

I have prepared something for you to play with - a brand new 2.6.35.10 kernel especially for HTC Legend.

Changes:
- config cleanup
- fixed cpufreq for Legend
- automaticaly set cpu speeds to 120-768MHz ondemand, you can change that. 50setcpu init.d script will be removed with this update!
- added conservative and powersave governors
- ext4 - i need someone to test this and confirm if it's working
- swap - i need someone to test this and confirm if it's working
- enabled forced module loading
- LZMA compression for smaller image size

Install:
Flash WITHOUT a wipe on top of my ROM.

Download:

P.S.> Trackball wake isn't working for now... :(
ok update kernel performed
I will test and we'll let you know! :)

I flashed kernel-nu4a-6.35.10-v1 over RC4b rom, my phone is ROCK STABLE now. Swap does not work for me. The only problem is a lag after waking up device (it lasts about 10s) from time to time. I think it can be overclocking related. Is there any way to disable overclocking at all for this kernel?
