You can give me some direction and i will try my best to do the damned wifi worksI'm pretty sure I know how I would make Wi-Fi work but I don't have much time this days so if anyone need some input lemme know.

1st of all as you probably already know, you will have to use 2.6.32.17 kernel, otherwise you won't be able to load the only Wi-Fi module we have. 2nd, module sdio.ko has to be loaded separately. 3rd, service wlan_loader from init.legend.rc needs to be rewritten... it need's to run an external wrapper script. 4th, libhardware_legacy.so needs to be hexedited to call wlan.ko. 5th tiwlan_drv.ko needs to be renamed to wlan.ko and hexedited accordingly. This is for starters. Check my Wi-Fi patch from Gratiend, it would certainly shed some light on everything. You can give me some direction and i will try my best to do the damned wifi works![]()
ATM mine doesn't have every bits needed for GB to work so I'd go with CM's for testing.Which kernel will be better to use? Yours or CM7?
I have never used USB tethering...Sigh, I spent like almost an hour trying to get Internet Pass-through (aka Reverse USB Tethering on WinMo) to work. It didn't, which is disappointing because I've reached my data limit and there's no WiFi, so no internet + HTCSense.com account creation on my Legend for a very long time...
Maybe this could be added to the list of things not working? Unless I screwed up somewhere...
Okay.. This is it... Easter holidays has now been posponed until after Christmas..Holy $h1t!
HTC just has released the source code of the Espresso WiFi driver! As i know this is the same as ours.
