I'm going to flash this now - I'll post any problems I encounter which aren't already listed.

I'll go back to Blayo's ROM later though - I need WiFi and G-sensors before this can be my permanent ROM. I'm very pleased someone is willing to port this though!

I've had a play around, and in my opinion, the biggest problems are:

1) Keyboard - you can barely do anything with the phone without one
2) WiFi - I don't get a big data allowance
3) G-sensor - many apps and games use this

Other problems will exist, but these are the 3 major ones to me. If the keyboard worked it would be a half decent port though, and I'm sure the WiFi / g-sensor will be fixed in time.

I just installed the stock android 2.3 keyboard using HTC Sync - I prefer the HTC one, but this will do for the time being as it doesn't crash. If you can't get the HTC keyboard to work at least the other solutions do. There are no skins, scenes etc to download in HTC Hub, but that might be because HTC hasn't populated this list for HTC Wildfire S yet. That is a minor issue though atm.

I notice there is only 90mb of internal space free after flash - maybe we should look at a2ext solutions once this rom becomes fully functional / stable. I know its too early for that at the moment though!

I might be imagining this, but it seems like live wallpapers play nicely with this rom, unlike in the stock 2.2 rom where they caused the pinch 'leap' feature to lag, along with scrolling.

From what I've seen, this is a promising ROM.

Did you do everything you were supposed to like wiping data and cache? Mine is quite stable, though some things obviously don't work.

I just flashed Blayo's kernel, wifi still doesn't work.

I'm going back to Blayo's B 0.7 now, if any major progress is made with this ROM I'll be back though. I love New Sense - even simple features like pinching out to change windows in the browser! Unfortunately the lack of WiFi and G-sensor means I cannot use this as a permanent ROM yet, and I also miss a2ext / a2sd.

Yes, wiped everything. Now it worked for about 30 minutes, but freezes when i change the language to Danish. Will just keep it English and see how it works.

Edit: Work fine on English, but SetCPU can't obtain root access, so i can't oc it.

Edit 2: ShootMe doesn't work either. I think there's a problem with Root/SuperUser-access
