What boots without problem: Beta3, Beta4 or the new Kernel patch?

I'm asking if the others have problems with this patch too.

Yep. There is some strange problem with the boot image creation... fixing.

Download this file http://www.mediafire.com/?xz4fd4dffc756le and put it into C:/AndroidSDK/platform-tools/

Push it to your phone by connecting your Legend to your computer in Recovery mode and typing the following into CMD:

cd c:/AndroidSDK/platform-tools/
adb push ./"HtcLockScreen.apk" /system/app
adb push ./"HtcLockScreen.odex" /system/app

Hopefully this solves your problem and you won't need to wait for a patch.

i tryed this in clockwork recovery and nothing changed... i still have the lockscreen

adb shell mount /system
adb shell ls -l /system/lib/modules

And check if you have the file kineto_gan.ko in that folder?

Just on a little latter stage of booting : it gets the logo and the " quietly brilliant " and then it restarts

nope kineto_gan.ko not in there...
only 2 files are inside, sdio.ko and wlan.ko

OK. i have removed the custom kernels from post #2 becouse:

CM7 2.6.35.13 = bootloops
nbetcher OC 2.6.35.10 = freezes the system after entering the pin code

This is for now. I will wait for some fresh kernel releases in the feature.

Feedback: with the beta 4 I were experiencing lots of lag when using the camera. I'm back on beta 3 which runs good overall. Sometimes I reboot when switching on Wi-Fi.

I suggest that you remove the obligatory wipe when install the ROM, because for example I have removed several apps of system (facebook chat, stock, etc.) and when I reboot it stay in bootloop and when I install again the ROM it do a obligatory wipe and I only want to re-install this apps.
