This is a great ROM!!!!!!I was waiting for a long time for a RC one.
Thank you very much to all of you
Thank you very much to all of you
I installed it with cm3. Just put the zip on sd card, then from cm install like a rom (install zip from sd card). Thats it. Then the phone will reboot twice, then just install it from adb.a2sd install & a2sd cachesd I assume are adb commands that are available one you have DTA2SD installed.
My query doesnt revolve around running the scripts mine is how the scripts are installed in the first place. Is there a function of CWM 3.x.x that allows backward compatibility with scripts written for CWM 2.x.x?
Or do you just unpack the zip and run the scripts from terminal on the phone?
Yes happened to the Mrs phoneBy the way, did anyone have the same issue as me? This ROM seemed to suck my battery. About flat in 6 hours, in which 3 hours are idle. only 1 active hour.

When I run 2.7.5 B4 ,B5 or RC2 I get " Amend scripting(update-script) is no longer supported....................Please switch to Edify scripting.........Installation aborted"I installed it with cm3. Use CWM 3.xWhen I run 2.7.5 B4 ,B5 or RC2 I get " Amend scripting(update-script) is no longer supported....................Please switch to Edify scripting.........Installation aborted"
So unless just using the "install / choose zip from sdcard" is the wrong option not sure how to install this
I think that maybe the problem, the amend(update)script that DTA2SD seems to be written in is no longer supported. I'm using CWM 3.0.2.8.Use CWM 3.x

I flashed DarkTremor beta 4 just last night and it works flawless. Just fake-flash this recovery http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=530410&d=1298970334I think that maybe the problem, the amend(update)script that DTA2SD seems to be written in is no longer supported. I'm using CWM 3.0.2.8.
Then again there maybe something wrong with the CMW installation(although it was necessary to install the ROM which appears OK) I have noticed that about 1 in 5 boots to HBOOT /recovery progress through without starting CWM.
I'm not sure about that...The kernel has trackball wake implemented, problem is that libui.so needs the fix in too,I don't know how to do that! Also the wildfire s doesn't have a trackball I'm not sure about the salsa
I bet my a2sd has worked. My previous apps which I have previously while running on Blay0 pop up straight from my ext3 after I typed 'a2sd reinstall'. However, as I'm doing more new apk installations, I realised my internal memory is decreasing again. Dunno when did I go wrong.I flashed DarkTremor beta 4 just last night and it works flawless. Shouldn't give you any problems. Just rename to update.zip and go to recovery press volume up + power and apply update.zip

What I noticed with ROM Manager & didn't really look at it in depth but I run the recovery upgrade and CWM 2.x.x runs OK then when the phone reboots ROM Manager doesn't appear to be installed so I reinstall from Market then the phone reboots and no ROM Manager. Just appears to be a never emding loop of ROM Manager install & reboots ,the other thing I have noticed is that the phone now seems to recognise my USIM as being changed(works OK but reports a different carrier but MCC & MNC correct)I flashed DarkTremor beta 4 just last night and it works flawless. Before the RC I had the phone overclocked with ondemand. Now with the RC I can't overclock because the phone turns super hot, a problem I haven't had before. Now that I'm not overclocking my battery last longer than ever...still having battery issues after flashing the rom
battery is lasting under 4hrs with very little use (5min on FB a few emails a few sms)
could having the incorrect radio be the cause of the bad battery life ?? currently using HTC_LEGEND_RADIO_7.08.35.21_signed.zip
and what is the best setting for setcpu for good battery life
i have just changed it to Max 600 & Min 122 and is on interactive ???
thanks in advance
