Yeah i changed out the boot animation after the first two boots of the rom. Its ugly.

Can someone help me with a weird bug in the ROM please? The phone keeps switching on the option to stay awake while charging under Applications/Development. Why is it doing that?

Never ran into that issue. Did you happen to restore apps/data or system data with TiBu?

Nope fresh install of rom and all apps. It stays off til the next time I plug it in then turns itself back on. Weird. Thought i'd give the rom a shot but its starting to lag a lot too.

Is it possible to change the opacity and color of the notification bar drop down? I'm trying to use widgetsoid for power controls on the notification drop down and the background is too transparent.

All you have to do is change the Widget.txt file.

There isnt one for 3G, but 3G should be included in Mobile Data.

Thanks, but I'm a little confused becasue it says take the widget.txt and drop this file into the '/system/customize/' folder on your phone. I don't see a system folder on my phone. Do I need to create this folder?

Just curious though does this mean I should delete the file before flashing new roms to avoiding messing up my phone?

You CANNOT flash this mod to implement the power control widget, and then flash a theme back over top it, if the theme replaces the framework-res.apk file (most likely do), as it will likely completely bork your phone, resulting in bootloops, as the theme will partially undo this mod, resulting in breaking both the mod and your phone

This is a great ROM, just got my Inc today and it's the first I flashed! Quick question, in the redemption rom folder it creates on the SD card, there's a "flip animation" zip. I flashed it thinking it would add some transition effects but it doesn't seem to do anything?

Flip (I believe) are the animations that come with RR. Though I may be wrong, as I add certain things before flashing it-the flip framework themed to my liking-being one of them...

Try flashing a different animation-see what happens.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm not sure I have any other animation zips, there was just the one included in the RR folder on the sd and didn't see any others on this thread. (Though I haven't gone through all 222 pages)

I have been using this rom on and off for months with out any problems. I loaded it on my brothers phone and the camera does not work. Just goes to a black screen. Does any one have any suggestions?

So the only thing that bugs me about sense is that I'm clearly not awesome enough to make a 5x5 homescreen. Thought this was something you used to include-maybe it was in redemptive...

Any guidance you could give would be greatly appreciated. I'm pretty sure its somewhere in the .smali code-but too dumb to figure out where.

Edit: 5x5 looks terrible. Got 4x5 working though.

I would like to make the notification bar opaque black. I downloaded ninja morph to do this but don't know what is the next step. What file needs to change and is there a black background file I need to get off of the internet. All help appreciated.

Framework-res.apk>res>drawable-dpi-v4>status_bar_background.9.png is the file you're looking for. Or maybe its statusbar_background.9.png... the difference will be obvious, one is for the status bar, the other is the notification area background.

Be careful to leave the 1px black lines on the outer edge exactly as they are when editing this image. Otherwise, it'll probably look like crap.

That's the correct folder. Sorry about the typo.

It's status_bar_background.

You need to manually edit it to add the color/effects that you want. Use GIMP, fireworks or PhotoShop to edit it.
