So I just flash this file (LI3 STOCK WITH AUTO COUNTER RESET) and I should be back to square one?

I screwed up and forgot to make a nandroid back up

I want to basically start all over and make sure I make the nandroid backup after rooting

Thanks!

i actually had to do a hard reset via settings in order to truly get it back to the day I got it since it still shows files i downloaded in the internal SD card after i flashed that zip

thanks for all your help!
Well those dont affect wheather or not your phone works. And could you imagine how many pissed off people there would be if this wiped the internal sd? Id be marked for death. but glad to hear it

i agree...I wanted the phone go back exactly how it was out of the box, with a fresh wiped internal SD

So for those wanting that, you will have to do 1 further hard reset from settings

Thanks for all of your help :)

Thank you , you made this very easy to do . :good:

Just for clarification,

I am using LIH firmware right now . Do I need to do anything else like downgrade to LIG before proceeding back to stock ?

What version of TWRP are we getting in your file ?

And one last question ( I Hope ) I am currently using TWRP 2.2.2.0. . Can I use TWRP to flash stock rom, epic and TWRP ?

Thanks again for all your work you have put into this.
I apologize for the 'noobish' questions.

You shouldnt need anything else. If anything it probably wouldn't hurt to grab the bootloader/ miscellaneous files for ics listed at the bottom but as the post says i do not believe they're required. And twrp is the latest version. And yes it can flash everything in that order

If you have a 32GB version like me DO NOT USE THIS. I guess I was just the unfortunate soul to lose everything since this has the 16gb pit file. After installing when it first boots it comes to an encryption error screen. I then rebooted to recovery since I installed that and was shocked to find my internal storage was registering as ~11gb instead of the ~24 it had and no files to be found. Only fix was to odin a diff rom and even once that was done it was only showing my internal as 16, so searched around and found the thread with the 32gb pit file which fixed it. Just sucks because I lost everything from the last 3 weeks at lineman college since I hadn't had a chance to get them synced to my pc yet. Please update OP to state this is only for 16GB versions of the phone.

I'm sorry to hear about this. I believe this has to do with how the counter is reset. Note that the other version is still ok to use. The OP has been updated. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
