Differences between this rom and the old one from StoneTrapper? Both are official RR ROMs? Thank you

Fingerprint as home button works! I think you are using the 30/10 version.

Hey, my Home button didt wake up my phone. I check settings, there fine. Can you help me?
I update rom from latest official rom.

My 2 cents:
- update from StoneTrapper's RR 5.8.4 without Data Wipe --> UI forced stops, again and again.. impossible to use the rom.. And also impossible to return to the StoneTrapper's one because there was an infinite boot (with RR logo)

- Total Wipe (system+cache+data+dalvik) --> all ok!
Fingerprint to unlock: ok
Fingerprint to home: ok
Double tap to wake: NO

@Psy_Man do you suggest this kernel or the Psychedelic? I'd like a smooth smartphone but also a great SoT.. :)

    Or you can edit /system/etc/keylayout/uinput-fpc.kl and remove the # from the first line. I haven't updated yet coz i am working on Oreo.

    just a quick "heads out" since most of the questions posted in this thread have already been discussed (some with much details) in the other thread about RR for Mi Note 2.

    As for "Camera" and general applications you may want to read a comparison based on my experience with this ROM: https://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=73380538&postcount=197

    As for the "Low Audio Problem" basically there are two options: Viper4Android or Manual Tweaking the Build.props. If you desire to "go down the rabbit hole" of manual editing then here is a discussion about best values we could find with other users: https://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=73551306&postcount=244

    If you want to install and use a "Google Camera" porting then the one working with RR is the NX Camera: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=889764386195928369 (at least, this is the only google camera porting working with RR that works that I'm aware of. And I've tried dozens. I will try the one linked by @jorvacf and make comparison with others.)
