This is an AOSP kitkat rom for Xperia Z1 only!
[B][COLOR="Red"]I am not responsible if you brick your device[/COLOR][/B], but I will try to help you if things go wrong.

Introduction

This is a new rom I created, the main cause of RevolutionRom is to have a vendor tree, hardware repos and AOSP repos with some small changes for Xperia devices. This will make it a lot easier in the future to provide and update AOSP roms on Xperia devices.

Installation instructions

Warning! The recovery in the Ubuntu Touch device image doesn't recognise external sd (Micro SD)
- Reboot into fastboot
- Flash boot.img and system.img:

- fastboot flash boot boot.img
- fastboot flash system system.img​

- Reboot into recovery
- Do a factory reset
- Flash gapps and supersu zip
- Reboot into system and anjoy the power of RevolutionRom android kitkat!

No, mobile data never worked, but I'm compiling version with some ril changes now hopefully at least calling will work.

Btw receiving calls works

Update coming tomorrow still not able to place calls, but receiving them works, also camera is a little bit functional:
- no focus with back camera
- no taking of normal pics or video recording
- front camera fully functional
- panorama function works

Hardly working, but if I understand correctly getting the camera to start and all is possible with unlocked bootloader, it just cannot focus and that makes it pretty much useless.

Im assuming no one has tried this then at all? Ive just wasted time testing this... theres an issue, when you choose wipe data/ factory reset, the data partition doesnt mount... this results in constant FC since data has not been wiped...
on top of that you cannot then restore a backed up ROM since Data partition does not mount!

Not sure if you've even tested yourself?
seems its best to fix recovery first before distributing ROMS
my 2nd day wasted on Custom Roms...

EDIT: Fixed data mount issue, format successfull

I didn't had these issues. I tested the ROM.
Anyway new version coming up very soon, bug list will be a little bit less

Any news? Coming from nexus is love to see this working. Just waiting until I can make calls and use mobile data.Bluetooth is a non issue.the camera has been fixed in 4.3

i am almost sure krabappel2548 mentioned in the doomlord ZU GE 4.4.2 rom thread that he would fix the camera and other issues, and then (as far as i know) he went missing
