Okay! I backed up all my apps with TB. I dont really have anything important on my pad, I just like it when you can just flash the new version ontop of the oldPretty sure you will need to wipe to avoid problems. This is universal for any device receiving an upgraded ver of android.
If you want to restore your important stuff on main partition just backup your /data/ folder for the things you need (ie game saves, etc) and restore them later after you reinstall it again
fabio, I hope you don't mind answering these questions. There's too many threads going on about ICS and hard to sort the clutter from what is the right answer.
going from revolver 3.1.1 > ics revolver:
do we need a new hboot or something like that similar from htc methods?
do we need new recovery?
I will answer since i'm sure he's busy doing his thing to get us the new revolver rom. With asus, there is no such thing as hboot... With the tf, you either have sbk version 1 or version 2. Version 1 came with older models, serial no. b60 and up and b70 and below has version 2. With version 2, you cannot use any utilties that involve nvflash. There is no way to downgrade to version 1 if you have version 2. You can root and install roms with either. As to my knowledge, you will need to use either roaches cwm recovery or rougue cwm recovery.
The Tegra 2 supports 1080p Video Decoding... :x according to nVidia..
It will be exiting to see what developers do with this, so far I have gotten 2403 on Quadrant with Stock ICS .. I bet we can get up to 3000+ on Stock 1Ghz
In the second part of the thread's name you can find both the numeric version and the code-version. The former is expressed in this way: branch.version[.subversion]. Usually a subversion consists of a bugfix release. The latter is expressed in this way: AABC[D], where AA is the Android version on which the firmware is based (for example HC or IC), B is the hexadecimal value of the branch, C is the hexadecimal value of the version and D is the hexadecimal value of the subversion.
