[ROM][RIVA][PIE] LINEAGE OS 16.0 [UNOFFCIAL]

Stucked on boot screen

After install this OS on my Redmi 5A (Riva) Android 8.1 (OREO) it stucked on boot screen. I have waited for 1 hour but it never showed up anything. Tried to reinstall it again, still the same.

This is my steps to install this OS:
1. Unlock bootloader SUCCEED
2. Download & install TWRP for riva SUCCEED
3. Wipe and format all my folders SUCCEED
4. Install the LineageOS SUCCEED
5. Boot screen FAILED

Any solution?

No.. its working flawless... Its most stable rom i have ever tried..

If you you came from MIUI don't use MIUI based on Android 8.1 Oreo. You have to use MIUI based on Android 9.0 Pie , otherwise your phone can't boot into system

Hi sunnyraj! I have a problem installing Magisk after flashing your ROM:

Magisk V20.1 Installer
**********************
- Mounting vendor
! Cannot mount /vendor
- Unmounting partitions
Updater process ended with ERROR: 1
Error installing zip file '/sdcard/Magisk-v20.1.zip'

Despite this error, the ROM boots correctly but I cannot root. Can you help me out?

Use Orange Fox Recovery r9 or r10:cool:

NOTE:

Nougat firmware V10.1.1.0.NCKMIFI has been enforced from today's update. so, it is necessary to flash the given firmware before flashing the rom, only for 1st time and later it will be not necessary to flash it if you've already flashed the firmware.

  • It requires clean flash

i get bootloop after update
flashed back previous version of los (without downgrade firmware) and it works
