hello, I'm buying this unit with RK3188 processor, I would like to know if, this unit detects the outdoor temperature ..? I've seen some pictures but said nothing about it.

No they dont, the weather widget gets the temp from the internet.

Good morning @typos1 which happened for three days does not work again the renewal of weather data,(KLD launcher) we have some news about this problem

Edit: I found the 4pda.ru/forum user 'vitarkananda' where species localizing the problem and renew MTCWeather_v - 1.4.1 version but I can manage recording in Russian language forum so why can not I download the new MTCWeather.apk
Please If someone is able let raise new apk weather somewhere to be able to take it download.

How is it you can not. MST786 have a dual core and I saw the outdoor temperature by turning the knob of the climate. Now with this you can not?

Some units may get the outside temperature from the canbus and the cars temp sensor, but the weather widget gets it information from the internet.

my car has always detected by the temperature can bus. I owned a Kaier MST786 Android 4.1. That's why I wanted to know if this unit does the same. I hope so.

If your car is CAN Bus, you have an adapter and MTC support your car, then it may be able get the outside temp from the car.

Are you referring to this? Usually it supplied with the unit. I had this on my unit. It is also used for the steering wheel controls.

Only if MTC have made it work for your car - not all CAN Bus vehicles have full CAN Bus support.

Can I take advantage of your presence? I discovered the existence of rockchip PX3. I wanted to know from you what are the differences between this and the Rk 3188. Should I buy a unit with this processor but now I'm confused .which is the best? You can install custom firmware even with this "PX3?" I do not see threads about.

The later units have Rockchip PX3s, as far as I can workout its just a new name for the RK3188.

So I can install any firmware and change as the rockchip 3188? It is that right? I read that the PX3 has 1.4 GHz instead of 1.6. I hope that is not so.

They're going to send me this last unit, it still is not available .Saranno ready in April.
