So I can install any firmware and change as the rockchip 3188? It is that right? I read that the PX3 has 1.4 GHz instead of 1.6. I hope that is not so.

now it will not boot.

I put the sd card into the card slot and press power, although lit the lamp power but the display remains black.
I take the sd card out and leave the radio on the radio starts to lettering "ANDROID".
I have 3 different sd cards used 1x2GB and 2x8gb ... without success
with no one goes.
I have it formatted in fat16 and fat32 ... without success

please can any one help me where my mistake is that he does not start from the sd card?!?

I use windows 10 on 64bit on a MSI GT72 Laptop

Can confirm that it works

You have to root the unit and use ie ES File Explorer to copy the files (the settings in ES File Explorer) has to be changed to let have the rights to delete and copy filens in app.

did you try to go recovery mode and delete the wipe data and delete also wipe data cache ?

Theres no such thing a "Eonon GA5165f firmware", Eonon are sellers, they sell units from several manufacturers.

If you know your processor type and screen res pyou can use ANY firmware that matches them and flash that.

Hi, I have an Eonon GA5165F. (RK3188 MTCB-ZD9-V2.72 800x480) Purchase in May 2016. All is good, very good.

I don't have the stock firmware, I don't have the MCU. So I have not flashed MCU.

Running Malysk June very happyly ALL IS GOOD.

You dont have an Eonon, by the way, Eonon are sellers, you have a "ZD".

"GA5165F" is a meaningless, made up name by Eonon, firmware from ALL 10+ manufacturers of these units a long as it is the correct processor type and screen res as your unit. The "rk3188" and "p" in the firmware title means that it is for quadcore, 800x480 resolution units.

Can you post a link to EONON2_rk3188_p(20151019).rar and ZD_rk3188_p(20160510).7z ?

Im about to try flashing mine before I try for a warranty replacement.

Given how weasely these makers can be at dodging warranties, does anyone know if the USB can be restored by changing the RK3188 board or a sub component board?

I wonder if you can please post the RK188 800x480 , November 27, 2015 version.
As I would like to install a custom ROM but need to have the stock factory version as well I firstly like to have the original version but you posted only the version for RK3088!!!
Do anyone have this KLD original stock factory firmware dated November 27 2015? I cheked everywhere on the forum but couldn't locate it!!

There are many, many versions of the factory firmware for all types of MTCB head units on the fileserver, both for dualcore (RK3066) and quadcore (RK3188) versions and in 800x480 and 1024x600 screen resolutions (the only combo missing is dual core Lollipop because there is no Lollipop for dual core). You need to pick a ROM that matches your screen res and processor type or it will not work properly.
Go ahead and flash @Malaysk's ROM and in the unlikely event that there is a problem with it or that you dont like it, then pick either a factory ROM, a mildly modded ROM (ie @DSA's prerooted 2Gb app partition ROM) or another custom ROM (ie @booroondook's ROM). The date of the ROM on your unit currently is irrelevant.

Hi mate and thanks for your advise, I have a few questions:
1) my MCU is KLD6 V 2.81 and it is not my intention to update it as there isn't an available one for download in case I have to get back to original version ,would you agree with me about this point?
2) I'am looking for a custom room (K.K. 4.4.4. , I dont wanna test Lollipop right now) which has almost the same graphic interface as the default KLD ones, I've hard bondoorok should have almos the same KLD aspect but I need a confirmation
3) I need a custom rom which could improve the sound quality as well, the current factory rom I have has a terrible audio in my opinion, which one would you suggest?
4) What is the different between a factory rom and a DSA prerooted?
LAst question: is there an Xposed MTC player which supports flac 24/96 as well and shoutcast radio internet with no need to purchase extra-players on google play withou stupid adds?
