That Huawei is available here too I think. Is that functioning directly as a USB modem and not as router like some of their hi-link stuff?

Not always reliable and practical.

I need a separate data source in a van and I need to be in and out of it a lot over a day and keep the phone with me, using wifi hotspot runs down battery etc and is a lot of hassle to plug unplug, charge, hotspot on and off.

It would also be more convenient to have data on different contract sim for business cost purposes.

Any luck mate?

Any chance you could post a md5? The rk3188 1024x768 rom is not working. I have downloaded it and extracted it more than once. It isn't detected as a valid update.img file for me. I am using your march 9th release currently.

Try using a different browser if using a PC or Mac, also a different unrar tool. If I was able to get it there has to be something on your end causing the disconnect.

I also flashed your newest ROM from stock Joying.
Think everything went fine but I don't like the design from some apps, for example the radio and equalizer.

So can I replace the apps through some with other colors without getting problems?

Or is there another way?
Because I saw in Malaysk's screen****s some nicer designs.

sorry if it has answered before but with latest malaysk 16/03 version i cant connect bluetooth obd for torque..i find it by searching but nothing happens when i press connect.

Also using steering wheel keys 1 press translate to 3 moves on head unit

Malaysk, great update.

Just because a lot of people are asking, once you have a FUSE version of the rom installed update like this:
1. Download new FUSE rom.
2. Unrar the .img file to microSD.
3. Insert card into GPS slot.
4. Navigate to settings, About Machine, System Updates.
5. Do not check box to wipe.
6. Press ok.

System will reboot into recovery and install upgrade, then reboot and you are good to go.

might be this the reason why installing firmware release after 2015, dec. I loose (rk3188 1024x600) sys partition of 2Gb? I tried several times, but to have 2 Gb partition only old release perfoms that.
Any suggestions for tomtomGO about" no network connection" after install?

I think I got it.
I renamed and replaced the apps :good:
But where to find for example Equalizer ?

And I think, I found one problem.
My rear speakers on the right side don't work anymore with Malaysk.
I am pretty sure ( 95% ) they worked with stock ROM, any suggestions ?

Yes, was installed in Feb version, now I perform an update to 16 March ROM without wiping the data.
This settings was disable there, why it is active now, and can NOT be removed?

I had a similar issue a few days ago. After doing an update. I still had to install the exposed framework again but i was sure i did it in the last rom and i also didn't clear the data. I checked and in fact it wasn't installed... reinstalled the exposed framework and it worked again.

i found a way to make the opo and cm13.0 connect to the android car radio again.
Enable root access in developer options, open file manager and open the /system/etc/init.qcom.bt.sh and edit the following line:

Setprop ro.bluetooth.hfp.ver 1.7

... To:

Setprop ro.bluetooth.hfp.ver 1.5

... And save the file and reboot, and it works again for me. No problems till now.

Make sure you go to PPP Widget 1 forum and check which ones are compatible. In the US I am using the E3276-s500 and I cloned the IMEI of the phone I got for free on the modem and I get unlimited 4G LTE. Not sure which one works on UK.

1. This could be done through the module XposedMTC, but it does not work on the new firmware :crying:. We look forward to when the correct module
