I have an unit with working AF-Funktion. I pretty love your Firmwares but I am not sure if your ROM will work on my Headunit.
CPU-Z tells that it has an RK3066 with 1,42 GHz coreclock. Can you tell me what firmware fits.

Yes I thought the same but Erisin the seller of the unit call it an RK3188 with Dual Core.
The device is an ES9015 an the resolution is 1024*600.

Erisin is being misleading when they say it's a 2 Core RK3188

The RK3066 is a high performance dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 mobile processor
The RK3188 features a quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 clocked up to 1.6 GHz frequency

Check your settings within the head unit to see what it says.

If it's a dual core Rockchip, it's a RK30xx series or RK3168. Not an RK3188. The RK3188's are quad core.

Looking at the model number in your screenshot, it appears you may well have a Rockchip PX2 dual core ARM Cortex A9 @ 1.4 GHz

Looking around I see that the "Rockchip PX2 is completely compatible with Rockchip RK3066, PX2 is more focused on industrial application, contrary to Rockchip RK3066 which targets consumer devices such as tablets and TV boxes."

Added: If it was me, I'd pull the unit from the vehicle. Pull the tin cover off and look at the chip. It will say Rockchip PX2, RK3066, etc. right on the chip. Then you will know for sure. No more wondering or doubt. I'm going to jump off here and spend the day with the family for Easter. Make sure you can get into recovery before you do any upgrading.

That is not an MTCB unit. The firmware being discussed here will NOT work.

As it says on the main page of this forum:

This forum is for Software Development for MTCB Android Headunits. Check Settings->About tablet -> MCU Version. If it starts with "MTCB-" you are in the correct place.

Why are you asking about widgets in a ROM post? HE doesn't custom make widgets for you, perhaps you can find one. Or create your own post in SW Development instead of cluttering this one up.

You never know, give him some time, perhaps he'll come around. People really need to understand that he isn't going to fix every little error everyone had and it seems they expect it. I feel his pain.

I had this issue before on previous build (again cant remember wich one that was) but with the march build i dont have that issue anymore. weather displays fine on my head unit

any luck with a better bluetooth apk to use for us? or maybe there is someone out here who can modify the bluetooth apk for us?

the google app issue seems one that we have to live with. i cant figure out what it is that is causing the app to crash. its driving me crazy trying to figure it out so i think im just gonna live with it to make things a little less stressfull for myself

Is your unit 800x480 or 1024x600 (RK3188)?? I think weather issue is only for 800x480 units....

Yes, my Google app has the same version (5.10.32.19.arm). I have tried different versions from my previous link but with no luck. Still searching for a solution...

For now, I have another big problem. Two day ago, I have installed Sygic Navigation apk (version 16) and now the Weather app is displaying only "--" (please find the attached pictures).
When I saw the problem, I have removed Sygic, clear cache, clear Dalvik, factory reset, reinstall the ROM, Wipe All, install again the Wheater app but without luck.
Any suggestions?

Dear @dj.martzian, did you solve your problem with MTCWeather?? I have the same problem as you, but I'm not sure if it was because Sygic, I installed some apks at the same time but the fact is MTCweather displays only "--".
I've been trying the other solutions given for other users but without luck.

The MTCWeather problem is not related to Sygic!

Until now, I don't have an solution. I have tried different Weather versions, but with no luck. Maybe the solution is on the pda.ru forum. Wright now, I don't have time to investigate due to difficult translation from Russian language.

If someone has a fix, please share with us.

About the MTC_weather problem the developer has informed the "release.apk MTCWeather_v - 1.4.1.apk" but can not download the upgrade from a Russian forum ... :crying:

Is there a way to revert back to stock? I successfully flashed this rom and I have the latest update from eanon for the factory rom, but every time I attempt to flash the factory rom it goes through process and then on boot up I see malaysk still.
