- Tomtom v1.8 OK
- Tomtom v1.9 KO

Sorry mate. Did you say the february ROM worked ok for Tomtom v1.8 and 1.9?

To use Tomtom i had to revert to the factory joying (Aug 2015) ROM on headunit.

This is a known issue, you would need to go back to a pre December Rom, I have spent many hours trying to get it to work and it won't, I did manage to get normal TomTom working yesterday tho!

SEARCH!! There are no less than 10 references to the weather problem, solution and even multiple links to the file.
Make sure you aren't connecting your phone to the ELM327. Disable BT on phone or unpair it then reboot radio. Try to pair again. in BT on stereo. Once connected to radio go back into torque and ensure you have the correct mac address for the OBDII adapter. It is ID'd by HU as OBD II right?

The standard TT i.e. not the new GO, I got working on this ROM. Just add the tomtom folder and apk file to root of internal SD, install apk but don't start it once installed just click done and then re-boot device... Worked for me.

Does someone use Malaysk ROM with a VW car, which has PDC + Climate Control display on the device?

In the family we have a RK3188 device in a BMW and a Ford. Both with Malaysk's ROM and we are loving it.
Now I ordered another unit for my fathers VW Tiguan. But there the PDC and Climate Control are shown on the display and the Radio information is also transferred to the display in the speedo:

Will these features still be there after I update to Malaysk's ROM?
Is my assumption correct and this is handled by the MCU, so the ROM can be changed/flashed?

Thanks, I tried searching multiple times but the function was down for site maintenance. 5 mins after my post my search turned up some results. I disabled all the exposed modules, rebooted, paired my elm27, enabled the modules and rebooted. Problem solved.

Oh and the weather updating issue seems to have fixed itself. Or one of the updated mtcweather apk’s I installed finally took after a reboot or two.

On my HU i got TomTom Go with latest updates working. Just install exposed IMEI Changer, put yours phone imei (i got S5) and reboot. Sygic and latest TT working without any problems.

Don't know. But every upgade i done with Malaysk firmware, since first one, thats was always works.

First install IMEI changer and after reboot clean install of TT.

Becouse I am using just one of them and don’t need rest.

I expect that, but there is no need to delete them due to the massive space of malaysk fuse rom.

TomTom Go is the latest program but it does not work on your Roms. actually I can't say its just your ROM as it does not work on the other Rom thats on this forum or indeed the stock Rom, the app can't connect to the internet. The web has tons of sites talking about this, it seems that the app can't install the correct files such as metadata.xml on install, I believe it has something to do with KitKat , but this is only what I have read on "other" forums!

Actually I know at least one more application that has issues with internet connection after ROM upgrading - Yanosik, app that warns drivers about events on the road - very popular in Poland. It was not happening on old (not FUSE) ROMs.

Also on Feb-release there is an issue with internet connection in general after the unit boot - the modem that is attached is simply not visible (Huawei E3131s) and there is no range indicator on status-bar. After detaching and attaching the dongle again - everything starts to work again.

According to this, it seems that something is wrong with internet connection in general on those ROMs.
@Malaysk - please have this in mind while creating new releases - maybe something was just overlooked?. If there is anything I can help you with (checking, testing etc.) just let me know

Try disabling the "automatic USB/SD checking feature" of ES File explorer.

After I disabled it, my 3G Stick was visible more often.

Ihave totally uninstalled ES File Explorer due to its super-duper features like "stealing focus all the time" etc. Described a few pages back.
