OK. I did more investigation. Imm 99% sure it's xposedmtcmanager. I'm not sure what it does but I know that it makes read the obd2 adapter as a phone. If you disable it. The adapter connects.

Check in the HU's system info if the serial number is zeroed...got a error shown in the next post.
I concur. I assume you haven't been able to connect with Torque while the BT shows the phone setting?OK. I did more investigation. Imm 99% sure it's xposedmtcmanager. I'm not sure what it does but I know that it makes read the obd2 adapter as a phone. If you disable it. The adapter connects.
I believe I had both connected at the same time. I can't check cause I was using a friend's and a gave it back. I'm waiting for mine to arrive from China. I found it really unstable though. I had to constantly unplug it to get it repair itself. Not worth the troubleI concur. I assume you haven't been able to connect with Torque while the BT shows the phone setting?
Did you do any research to see which devices work best with these HUs or Rom?I believe I had both connected at the same time. I can't check cause I was using a friend's and a gave it back. Not really. Just looked around to see what most people use. Seem like the most popular is the elm 227 v2.1. , I'm sure they work great on the stock ROM. When I get mine if I can't get it stable I might flash back to stock and see how it worksDid you do any research to see which devices work best with these HUs or Rom?
+1Can we not make this is a general problems thread...We are getting to the point we were at before when it was 1 big thread and 1,000 pages of random issues.
I (Like others i presume) come in hear to find out about the latest versions of Malaysk's firmware.
I can understand if the issue relates to what version of an App/Service is included or works with the Rom, but if you have a particular issue with Waze or Tom Tom etc, please create a new thread in perhaps Android Head Units General

Yes it's zeroed. So what can I do?Check in the HU's system info if the serial number is zeroed...
Hi MalayskTry to install initially the January firmware to Wipe data, see how it works WiFi. Then install the March firmware to wipe data in recovery.
Who is the original manufacturer? I've experienced with Pumpkin that the WiFi doesn't workHi Malaysk
Thank you for the tip.
Sadly the wifi isn't working for me in the january rom neither. Do you have any other ideas?
I had march firmware installed, I did all the steps in the recovery: wiped, installed january rom, wiped and installed january rom again.

Yes it's a pumpkin..Who is the original manufacturer? I've experienced with Pumpkin that the WiFi doesn't work
with Malaysk FW or any other non-original FW. In the meantime, take a USB WiFi modem and test if you get connected using
the rear SB connectors. In my case it works although the factory WiFi doesn't work.
Maybe Malaysk or any of our Russian friends can figure out what's differentYes it's a pumpkin..
Ok thank you, I will buy an WiFi adapter and keep you updated
