So, I need to download the file, unzip it and copy the img file to my SD card and the music folder to GPS SD card.
Reboot in recovery and update from there right?
I should I do a factory reset in settings first?
Sorry about all the questions, but I just want to be sure that I'm not going to brick this thing [emoji1]

Thank You for everything you have done for the 800 X 480 RK3066. I am sorry to hear after June 12 you wont develop any more ROMs for it. The only good thing about that is you almost have them working perfectly now. Thanks again.

I'm using Next launcher.
How can I create one touch dial for a certain contact?

Even with the 3g dongle calls are still made through your phone/bluetooth. All the 3g dongle does is enable you to access data. The closest you can come to one touch dialing is to use True Contacts. No matter what you use it still will be through your phone. The other problem is all of these units have a very limited Bluetooth stack so by design it limits functionality. Not even @Malaysk can fix what is not there.

True Contacts doesn't offer that option.
Isn't there any known widget that can do that?

Not that I am aware of.

If your`s a RK3066 you just nedd to allow "RK3066 HeadUnit apk" to do calls via bluetooth. Then in contacts if you touch a contact twice it`ll call that number via your phone.

or use exdialer/Headunit apk and it works as well. It'll give one popup saying no mobile network but it sends call and interface is a ton better.

Hi

I have installed the latest Malaysk ROM to my unit and it all works OK except my reverse camera screen is now faulty. It sometimes comes up, sometimes doesn't, sometimes faint, sometimes colour run into the picture... just generally poor/not working. It worked fine before the upgrade.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

I agree, everyone has RK3188 by now.

If anyone is still on RK3066 they can contact me for upgrade to RK3188.

I would just like to say thank you for all you have done for us on the RK3066 chip I have only updated my unit twice since I got it 15 months ago never gave me any problems.i much be just lucky. I am gonna stay on this chip and the rom I am on now. Thank you very much again [emoji4]
