[ROM][RK3066/RK3188][SD/HD] Malaysk ROMs Android 4.4.4 for any yet known MTCB-Device

Just to inform you that today I tested for the first time my unit on the highway and I have discovered that the AF radio function is working. I have a HA2100 rk3066 1024×600 last Malaysk ROM and MCU 2.80

I have installed the latest Malaysk ROM to my unit and it all works OK except my reverse camera screen is now faulty. It sometimes comes up, sometimes doesn't, sometimes faint, sometimes colour run into the picture... just generally poor/not working. It worked fine before the upgrade.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Haven't we discussed your rear camera before? You couldn't get the reverse working, right? The cam-video is controlled by the MCU, not Android, so Malaysk rom should have nothing to do with your cam. That's why you have a picture before Android has finished booting. Check your camera with the regular video-input to verify your camera is ok.

For next Version, is it possible to selwct, for example with your Mod, to not show the name of the app in Status bar? For me it is wasted space.
Further the option "hide home button " in your Mod don't work for me. The home button Stil is there

you have a picture before Android has finished booting. Check your camera with the regular video-input to verify your camera is ok.

I didn't have a picture of the factory settings. Just the unit information.

It worked perfectly fine before the firmware upgrade though.

I didn't however update my MCU. I didn't realise the camera came from there so is that worth doing?

No don't mess around with MCU. Go back to your old FW and verify reverse operation.

Those are the screenshots of my unit About menu. Can someone, please, point me the correct version of this fantastic ROM? I know that I should flash the RK3188 version (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60591423&postcount=2) but I don't know if I need to use 800X480 or 1024X600.

I ask because even though your unit shows MTCB the processor is not RK. It just shows arm processor.

I have a unit from ERISIN that also just shows arm processor but it's MTCB and I wanted to see if the ROM would work properly.

Well, I didn't do anything yet and now I'm wondering if I should... That processor detail is giving me second thougts... Maybe I should leave my unit as it is

Someone can tell if this is a problem?

Anyway, I asked Eonon the original ROM. I want to have a backup in case anything goes wrong. I'm waiting their answer. I'm not flashing without this.

If your`s a RK3066 you just nedd to allow "RK3066 HeadUnit apk" to do calls via bluetooth. Then in contacts if you touch a contact twice it`ll call that number via your phone.

I'm on 3188.. not 3066... does it makes a difference?

or use exdialer/Headunit apk and it works as well. It'll give one popup saying no mobile network but it sends call and interface is a ton better.

Upgrade to RK3188 is very easy
remove the top metal with 3 screws,
remove the old SOM held in place with 2 screws,
unplug the old
plug in the new and screws, turn on and install your favorite ROM.
