[ROM][RK3066/RK3188][SD/HD] Malaysk ROMs Android 4.4.4 for any yet known MTCB-Device

First of all thanks to malaysk for developing this ROM and everyone else who have contributed to it.

I am facing a small problem with my MTCB device, 1024*600, which has the latest malaysk ROM from 23-Apr.
When I connect my phone (a Oneplus One on Cyanogenmod 13) using bluetooth to my head unit, it says 'connected (no phone)' in the bluetooth menu. The dialer, call log and contacts menu are not active. When I play music on my phone it plays over the car speaker, but calls are not routed through the head unit. Tried my friend's phone, and it worked as expected. However, I have not faced any bluetooth pairing problem using my phone with any other devices till date. Anybody else facing this, or know a solution to this?

open the /system/etc/init.qcom.bt.sh (on your phone) and edit the following line:

Setprop ro.bluetooth.hfp.ver 1.7

... To:

Setprop ro.bluetooth.hfp.ver 1.5

hey thanks for the pointer! was checking earlier today with a huwaei honor 5x, and it worked fine too.
have changed in my phone as suggested by you. will check connectivity later today, and post updates. finger crossed!

install the newest CM13 Firmware and it will works

I had the same issue, but after the update it works perfekt.

I am on the latest stable version, 19th April 2016 one. Are you taking about latest nightly release?

Let me try mr_happy's suggestion and see if it works. Thanks anyway!

just a stupid question, anyone thought about what if your car radio got stolen? all your data in hands of a stranger? anyone managed to get the lockscreen working or some other security at boot? tried some from playstore but all those were easy to bypass....

As the malaysk firmware has xposed installed, you can try maxlock from xposed repository. It's app specific, and pretty good. Talking from a handset point of view though, but I don't see a reason why it won't suit the head unit.

It could be interesting to have instead of speedometer the weather info or the GPS map from the default navigation program...probably someone here with programming skill can do it....:fingers-crossed:

@malaysk Hiya mate i followed what you said to do but still can't get the speed to work on the main screen it works perfectly on s/s I got a 8g sdcard in the GPS slot with the folder on it. Sorry to be a pain the arse mate. It's on your 3066 experimental version.

I think it would be good practice to include in the message on new screenclock, xposed modules and other modifications etc. link at the end of the message to the post with instruction on how properly update new files. It will save unnecessary posts people may post regarding how-to.

Please consider.

Yes i agree, especially since this thread is getting long. All the screensavers from malaysk and others are near lost as we have to search through made different pages and posts. Something similar to the thread @Malaysk created for the xposed modules would be helpful. I know @Goose247 has his own thread for his themed screen savers. Another thing that somepeople dont seem to get this is a software thread and people keep posting hardware issues here. Like a backup cam not working or other issues not directly related to the android OS.

Hi all... anyone has a fix for speed not showing on the latest Malaysk rom on the home screen? GPS is working fine, screensaver shows speed, however home screen does not. Any help is appreciated. I have already placed both folders to gps card root

Do you think is posible for the Screensaver to kick in to effect on KGL home screen. It only works on Joying Home screen. I have it set to go into effect at 15 sec. I prefer KGL Manager. If there is no way on making it automatic is there a way to manually activate it? Also having a second issue. Radio Station Information does not show up in Screen Saver; what do I need to maker this work. I already have the screen saver working following your instructions.

You need to add the settings.ini and it should work. http://forum.xda-developers.com/android-auto/mtcb-software-development/xposed-modules-units-t3263966

Look at the mtc-manager menu it is all explained there.
