The offer to sell parts isn't unethical; in fact it's helpful to those that can't afford/don't want to replace their head units. Taking advantage of the situation would've meant Doctorman kept his mouth shut and simply sold new units to those oblivious to upgrading hardware.

So far, two themes were unveiled: Orange, and Silver. All two - in one zip archive.
The spedometer is labeled "km/h.

How do I install this screen I'm interested bringer rom malaysk last.

Please; this thread already got two general reprimands for the fight this started and staying on-topic. IDK why you even brought it up, knowing this.

That said, I guess it'd be more discreet to simply say "IM me for a solution", but then others would be wondering why DM didn't simply post the answer here rather than keep it private.

Folk will argue anywhere. What this thread needs, out of courtesy to Malaysk, is to stay on topic. Far too many are posting about problems that are nothing to do with Malaysks Roms simply because they have the rom installed. Nobody goes running to Microsoft for help when their pc gets a hardware fault just because they run windows!

Anyone have an issue with the new "experimental" release where it doesn't come out of sleep? It works fine from cold start, but after switching off and sleeping for a few minutes, it doesn't turn back on - just a blank screen - have to push the reset button and wait a minute.

This is on KGL.

No such problems on my HU. Only sometimes screenclock doesn't start after 15sec but it's rather my HU issue not software. Now thanks to Malaysk I can start it manually by pressing 'moon' icon. (KLD).

from time to time google play services does not start properly message pops up after wake up from sleep.

When the device starts it starts always the last opend app. I personally like the option but it has some issues the FM radio seems to freeze the sound when device starts.
Also when you give a app to start by startup it give somtimes problems the startup time will be much longer and longer Maby it's a option to disable this function and will you like auto start you can always juce PVC or takser for the more advanced start-ups or the auto start function of the app when it build in it conflicts sometimes . That's my opinion. please your opinion about this?

About the GPS in the launcher that don't work. How many gps source can handle android at the same time? Google , the screensaver ,wheather app and many other apps have to juse GPS. Maby there is a limitation how many GPS sources android can handle and so make a conflict with the GPS speed launcher. Maby when the system is ready and don't load anything then make the GPS (speed) will work .

I also did a little work around. I found some simple open weather thing. I did this in android studio to learn something about android. http://code.tutsplus.com/tutorials/create-a-weather-app-on-android--cms-21587
I have made this little thing and it's works. Now I playing with the colors . maby we can add it in the screensaver. And launcher maby. I.m not a developer and even know how to do this. It's only an idea

Hi there

This is to all guys having bad experience with "EASYCONNECTED" !. All you have to do is : 1- Uninstall previous version of "easyconnected server " from your phone. 2- Install "EasyConnected 4.1.8 from OEM folder on your HU" and let it install "easyconnected server" on your phone. After this your phone will show up a new version of "easyconnected server" to install, ( do not install it !!!), if you install this new version the next time you try to connect your phone it simply does not connect.

P.S. "EasyConnected 4.1.10 reads hardware, and if yours not on the list, it does not work.

I have the same problem. Actually, when I install new screensavers using APKs, they do not get activated at all. The device shows the same screensaver with speed and clock side by side, where speed is always 0.

Is there anything else we need to do?

Edit: maybe using the term screensaver was wrong. The screensaver (which gets activated from the moon icon on top of screen, and shows the clock on a dimmed screen) works just fine. But the screen which comes on after a few minutes of inactivity automatically to show the speed (always 0 for me), and analog clock does not work as expected.

Re-edit: Found out that there is an installation guide in the screensaver ZIP package, according to post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66618696&postcount=3611

How to install MPH version of the screensaver.
1. Install modified xposed-mtc-music.apk from the archive
2. Overwrite mtc-music.ini file with one from the archive or
edit existing file by adding the line
speed.divider=1.6 into [screenclock] section
Should look like that:

speed.divider=1.6

* mtc-music.ini is located on GPS SD Card in mtc-music folder

Use Root Explorer application for steps 3 and 4

3. Overwrite MTCScreenClock.apk with modified from the archive

4. For new MTCScreenClock.apk set permissions 644 and owner 0,0

5. Reboot 

I missed this so it is not working for me, so maybe you can try this too?

I use joying head unit in my own car and I have tested it with the hub.

many seller never tried one of these head units hands on.. they just get your order and have it shipped from a warehouse.
it is important to get your unit from a trusted knowledgeable seller

This may be relevant considering Malaysk may drop 3088 Roms in the future.
Krunk might be making a future proof purchase based on the chipset....fair enough
