I had the same radio, but it don't work.....

The reason is the MCU of this unit

The stereo is working great with its just the start up it takes ages and says some daft text (Hello to welcome android is starting be happy to touch screen soon) i need to change that i have got a file explorer and found the boot animation but dont want to replace the zip file with another incase in stuffs up.

New! All Digital Screensaver from Duk

Uninstall old screensaver: System- app ScreenClockUninstall Updates.
If you have one installed as a user app. I
Install new version of xposed-mtc-music-2.3 from MVG-V70 – 4pda.ru
Installed new All Digital Screensaver by Using Root Explorer.
(The procedure described on thread multiple times)
Edit mtc-misic.ini file by adding lines bellow
Or
Use default mtc-misic.ini from Duk

EDITING mtc-misic.ini
In the section named [screenclock] aadd the following lines:


# Speed digits color. You can put =red, =green, =blue, =cyan or put your own color’s hexadecimal code. If you will leave blank after speed.color=
Default white color will take palce. For an example, Orange will be =#ffff9600

# Clock digits color. You can put =red, =green, =blue, =cyan or put your own color’s hexadecimal code. If you’ll leave blank after clock.color=

PS For you convenience I have two basic version installation packages made----- km/h and MPH in two different archives. ini files are preconfigured and speedometers labeled accordingly.

I also have the same problem and tried almost everything to solve this, but no luck...
I think with original image had no problem, but I really like that rom so looking for solution

Great to hear that i'am not the only one with this anoying problem. I also tried everything, is tried all swc programs (carservice, headunit, exposemtc) and their settings. But the problems still occurs. It only happens when i use the hardware buttons on my Hui or steeringwheelcontrols. I also tried to map media_xx = next and media_xx = prev to my steeringwheel in mtc-keys. It let me control the mediaplayer but the problem is still there.

I don't know if the problem is also in the orginial rom. I can say that is occurs in Malayskk rom and also Boorendonk rom. Right now i dont know were to look to solve the problem. Is it possible that its something with the MCU? personally i think its in android itself, but than everyone should have the same problem.
@Malaysk Does our problem sound familiar? And can you do something about it?

Again a small description of the problem:

1. I start a player like spotify
2. i play a song
3. i go back to the home screen, so the player is in the background
4. i can use next / prev on my steeringwheel, the player skips true my songs in the paylist
5. I start another player, lets say tuninradio
6. I select a channel, and press play. I hear that the hui mutes the sound of spotify and i can hear the music from the radio channel from tuninradio.
7. i go back to the home screen and i use my steeringwheel button next to select the next radio channel in the list
8. Instead of changing my radiochannel in tuninradio, it changes the song in spotify

Anybody recognizing this? @ Malasyk does this sound familiar?

Thank you very much for your excellent work that make it up with PayPal.

I downloaded the latest ROM for RK3066 800x480 22.05.2016. I have installed and works perfectly as expected. But information about the tablet that puts the date is 23/02/2016.

It is correct.

I also wanted to ask what FUSE. I understand that serves to update the firmware without losing the applications installed with your settings.

It clearly answers the question whether or not the ROM will run on the devices that have and ARM processor instead of a RK.
Yes, it runs on it. I guess we just have to make sure to use the dual core version on dual core ARM processors.
@jcustodio, did you end up flashing the ROM on your ARM device ?

My device also has a dual core Arm processor and now I will flash the firmware on it and share my results.

Yes, exactly the same problem, the poweramp is probably running in the background and is being controlled with swc.
I tried car service and check microntec pouse option and it was better and not controlled
- playing music on poweramp build 588 and 702 and then press the radio button (toast appear -pouse music something like that) and the poweramp was not controlled any more.
- would like to do this with swc, why? (10 seconds faster startup)

I thought that this was also MCU related but now I see that probably not, I hope.

One more difference I notice from original rom
- when listening to the radio (radio app) the balance is the same, but when listening to the mp3 on default music app or poweramp, one side of the speakers is louder for 5%, still don't know why.
And I'm using preamp front and rear outputs to the amplifier (front and subwofer)
Probably this is MCU related... was wondering if I downgrade from KLD6 2.86 to 2.85 if there will be difference, but don't have the image for 2.86 so I'm stuck

Good morning, first of all to thank Malaysk for their hard work and the rest of the participants and their contributions.
In the last rom May 22 in the apk of music you can not be displayed bars, as in April 23.

I finally got my obd2 to work with torque. The only thing i had to do was to unplug rhe obd adapter and then plug it in again. It seems like it can only be paired to one device at a time and if you want to change your mobile device youll have to Disconnect your obd2 first....easy fix.
I only knew about some modems that had these problems wirh different routers. Anyway...i got it to work. Thanks for all your help.

I think the screensaver may work without GPS SD. with the Speedometer in km/h ONLY!
Main thighs you must have installed are Xposed framework and xposed-mtc-music module.
The mtc-music.ini should be placed on GPS SD card. The ini file contains customer settings.
Without ini file the screensaver will use its default settings and can not be easy customized

Your unit DOES have a GPS card slot for an sd card. It's INSIDE the unit. You have to remove the top cover to get at it.

Well,
I was just waiting on some type of confirmation that it won't brick the unit, but I can't flash until I travel overseas in a couple of weeks.
I don't have that unit with me.
But as soon as I travel my first order of Bussines is to flash the ROM and then sound mod by @7floor.
And to think I was going to change my unit for a pioneer.
I'll post my results.

I am back to December ROM.

Couldn't take the long lagg after pressing the green answer button till the ring stops and the line get connected.

I only miss the new JY launcher (without speedometer) , as it doesn't kick start the screen saver.

Music player visualization

You may have noticed that latest Malaysk ROM has “AUDIO” in the release name.
Malaysk’s primary goal was to bring us the best sound quality we can possibly get from our HUs.
For this purpose Malaysk has Viper4android with drivers and modified Music player embedded into his latest ROM. During testing, Malaysk found some minor conflict between Viper4android and MTC Music Player. He got the problem solved by making modifications in the Music player and some other system files.
But to make combination of the music player and Viper4android to work, he has to sacrifice the Player’s Visualization effect.

For whom who are missing Music player visualization and want it back.


Unzip attached archive

1. Replace libvisualizer.so file in system\lib\soundfx with attached one.
Change the file permissions to 644
2. Replace MTCMusic4.apk file in system\app with attached one or another
MTCMusic4 NOT FROM THE LATEST ROM!!!
Change the file permissions to 644
3. Reboot.

Files and the instruction provided by Malaysk .
I have it tested on my HU. Player’s visualization came back

Is it possible because of this modification of libvisualizer.so or viper that I have 5% lower volume on left speakers preamp output? (tried MTCMusic app and poweramp)
Radio app has right balance and no problem...
