Yes, I have mine setup that way. I have to touch the button or the screen for it to go away.

Hi, when i'm running GPS(tomtom) and poweramp at the same time, the music stops for listen the gps. How I can do that the music reduce the volume but don't stop.( with the native music aplications works correctly, I already configured mix in gps settings).Thanks.

iGo works this setting so give it a try: Poweramp settings -> Audio -> put short audio focus change to off (untick) and also option mixing in gps settings - android settings.

Btw: there is definetly something wrong with bluetooth in the latest malaysk rom, all my devices, iphone, lg g3 and my obd behave very strange. Sometimes its for example possible to see my contacts and stream music, sometimes only one music plays, sometimes none of them work and i havw to delete my devices and pair them again...very strange never had any problems with bluetooth before. Maybe the rom is incompatible with my bluetooth module.

I am using other bluetooth app, you can try it if it solve your problems maybe, because I dont have any.

The app is in the system/app (use root explorer).
Rename the old one to MTCBloetooth4.apk.old and copy the new one over with the same name like it was before, also change permissions to 644 (read write, read, read) and restart the head unit.

If you format with FAT 32 it should work.

What I am trying to do is to pair an Amazon Echo Dot through Bluetooth and it only pairs to speakers that do not require a 4 digit pin code. Is there a way to do this with your ROM so I can have the audio from the Amazon Echo Dot output through the Head Unit? Or if anyone has a work around to accomplish this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the fast response. Sorry for my ignorance but how exactly does this module work? How can this help me pair a device like the Amazon Echo Dot which requires the pairing to not use a pairing code. The Amazon Echo needs to think that it is paring to a regular Bluetooth speaker.

Yep. I'm using a 128GB MicroSD card. Works flawlessly. As a matter of fact, the latest ROM fixed *all* of my issues, and this thing is now flawless for me. Thanks Malaysk, you rock.

Do you format card before insert first time?
Which format? Fat32?
Which version Malaysk rom do you use?
Which slot support 64Gb sdcard? I tried only GPS card slot.

Thank you Malaysk, for this marvalous May ROM. You well deserve my donation.

I recently bought a Eonon GA5165F for my BMW E90 323i 2011.

I was not capable to install the April Malysk rom:
- I installed and clear data again and again for 7 hours. The rom was booting to the home screen and after 2 -3 seconds it would bring the boot logo(BMW) for ever.

I finally (after 7hours)install the March rom and this one worked good.

And I upgraded without clear data to the May rom as soon as it became available. The May rom runs with some problems:

I went to factory setting (not 126, but 1688 thanks to filegator) changed radio freq. to America instead of Europe. That was a bad decision, the Radio worked ok before.
This factory setting change requested a reboot, during reboot I got a RED message too fast to see what it was about. And I got stuck to the boot logo for ever.
Tried to refflash the May rom with no luck... Stuck on boot logo again.
I reflash March rom... works ok, then upgraded to May... Works.
When I press on the radio or sw MODE I get the boot logo again until I remove the car key and insert it back for a normal boot.

I'm running May rom and afraid of instability for my GA5165F. Afraid of factory setting.

Also, I have MTCB-ZD9-V2.72 ??? Was expecting KGL-790 for a BMW E90.

I was not successfull with pairing my OBD bluetooth Vgate named OBDII. (Torque works good with my PHONE and is asking for 1234 when pairing) Pairing with rom bluetooth does not ask for 1234, it says it is paired but Torque does not see it. I have unsuccessfully tried all the proposed OBD solutions in this thread.

Same for me, I posted a picture of it a few pages back..
Lastest ROM and in the GPS slot.
I think your problem is either your format..needs fat32 and or your card.

I found that a few ****ty cards I had that where 32g had problems with these machines..

Before you come back and say your card works in other devices.. with all the information presented to you now says that it's nothing to do with the ROM .

So you should start to investigate your hardware... which means go and start another thread out of 'rom development'.
As we now have another useless page of banter due to someone not reading and following instructions that have been posted many pages ago...

Any hints on how to use this module? I've installed and activated it, but on ScreenClock there is no message nor a toast pops up.
I configured mtc-music 2.2, the radio frequency is showing on ScreenClock. Also mtc-manager was configured to start the ScreenClock wit nextlauncher.
Does the poweramp module also need an ini-file?
