I saw you have rk3066. It's ok.
Do you format card before insert first time?
Which format? Fat32?
Which version Malaysk rom do you use?
Which slot support 64Gb sdcard? I tried only GPS card slot.

I let the device format it... not sure what format it is.

I've used his ROMs for about five months... So its worked will all till the latest, also worked with other ROMs.

Mines in the other slot.. Not the GPS.

The 64GB microSD works perfect in the HU, after FAT32 formatting.

You may have noticed that latest Malaysk ROM has “AUDIO” in the release name.
Malaysk’s primary goal was to bring us the best sound quality we can possibly get from our HUs.
For this purpose Malaysk has Viper4android with drivers and modified Music player embedded into his latest ROM. During testing, Malaysk found some minor conflict between Viper4android and MTC Music Player. He got the problem solved by making modifications in the Music player and some other system files.
But to make combination of the music player and Viper4android to work, he has to sacrifice the Player’s Visualization effect.

For whom who are missing Music player visualization and want it back.

Unzip attached archive
Using Root Explorer
1. Replace libvisualizer.so file in system\lib\soundfx with attached one.
Change the file permissions to 644
2. Replace MTCMusic4.apk file in system\app with attached one or another
MTCMusic4 NOT FROM THE LATEST ROM!!!
Change the file permissions to 644
3. Reboot.

Files and the instruction provided by Malaysk .
I have it tested on my HU. Player’s visualization came back :)
If you are using Viper4android, you have to know – when visualization screen “ON”
Viper4android effect is “OFF” and vice versa.
Good morning, forgive my clumsiness, could you explain in more detail the process I can not do it.
Thank you very much in advance.

Many thanks to 4pda.ru developers Duk and MVG-V70

Uninstall old screensaver: System- app ScreenClockUninstall Updates.
If you have one installed as a user app. I
Install new version of xposed-mtc-music-2.3 from MVG-V70 – 4pda.ru
Installed new All Digital Screensaver by Using Root Explorer.
(The procedure described on thread multiple times)
Edit mtc-misic.ini file by adding lines bellow
Or
Use default mtc-misic.ini from Duk

EDITING mtc-misic.ini
In the section named [screenclock] aadd the following lines:

# Speed digits color. You can put =red, =green, =blue, =cyan or put your own color’s hexadecimal code. If you will leave blank after speed.color=
Default white color will take palce. For an example, Orange will be =#ffff9600

speed.color=

# Clock digits color. You can put =red, =green, =blue, =cyan or put your own color’s hexadecimal code. If you’ll leave blank after clock.color=
Default white color will take palce. For an example, Orange will be =#ffff9600

clock.color=

# units of speed and time labels color. To remove these labels ,
Put color code =#00000000 – full transparency

sub_title.color=

# Color of Speedometer “inactive 0” If you want “0” invisible use code =#00000000
If you want your “0” color matching with speed but darker, first two digits of you color code should be =#60 (transparency 40%)

speed_back.color=

PS For you convenience I have two basic version installation packages made----- km/h and MPH in two different archives. ini files are preconfigured and speedometers labeled accordingly.
Good morning, forgive my clumsiness, could you explain in more detail the process I can not do it.
Thank you very much in advance.

When i skip a song with steering wheel keys the device skips 2 songs, when i skip the song on the unit it skips 1 song. Any idea why i have trouble with my steering wheel keys?

Check modules is xposed installer, its because of those, I think its the keys one you have to uncheck but can't remember, this happened to me and I just sorted by switch the modules off.

HU Cold boots every time!

Hi all,

I posted this a few weeks ago and still haven't been able to fix the issue.

Basically, the HU should go into standby for 30 mins when removing my car key, but it shuts down and has to cold boot every time regardless of the ACC timeout setting.

It used to work fine on the November ROM (and I haven't changed any wiring), but now it boots from scratch every time... even if I've only been away for 2 mins. I noticed if I change the ACC standby setting (to 1hr for example), it defaults back to 30 minutes after a reboot (and still doesn't work).

I have xposed and was wondering if anyone has experienced a module interfering with the the unit going into standby?

Disable Xposed and try standby again.
As a trouble shooting procedure remove anything on the USB ports and try standby again.
Factory rom works ?
Outside of changing the MCU version by accident it's most likely a hardware issue

Does anyone know how to change the icons from the new 5.1.1 launcher? I've tried using the Unicon xposed module but I cant scroll down to apply an icon theme.
this is not part of the ROM Malaysk!
anyway: decompile apk

for who does not display pop-up in the last mtc-music (even this is not part of the Rom)

This is not general thread MTCB

Sorry thread officer. The 5.1.1 launcher is built into the rom so it kinda is part of the rom. Surprised you didn't discipline the guy who was asking about his 64gb sdcard since that is clearly not part of the rom as you say. Anyway if anyone knows how to change the icons easily please share.

I checked my MCU and saw it had v2.08. No idea how that happened as I was on 2.73 last time I checked. Anyway, I re-updated to 2.73 and sleep works fine! Thank you for your suggestions

Any ideas why screensaver not run automatically?
Have changed timeout for 15s 30s or more and nothing. Working only if I turn it manualy. Speed etc is working fine.

Did you change the times in the settings menu or the config file on the gps card.
