[ROM][RK3066/RK3188][SD/HD] Malaysk ROMs Android 4.4.4 for any yet known MTCB-Device

Small issue appears since create ini file in sdcard/mtc-radio(to show radio station name).
A plan show radio station names are success,
but if head unit detects short shutdown signal(like engine start)
mtc-radio will keep quiet until push other station preset buttons.
mtc-music and other application softwares are no problem.
anyone know how to slove it or same issue?

Any ideas why screensaver not run automatically?
Have changed timeout for 15s 30s or more and nothing. Working only if I turn it manualy. Speed etc is working fine.

You have to change the delay in the mct manager folder... setting.ini i think.
Delay here is set to 200 seconds and prime on the delay under regular head unit setting.

I would like take out the date on the screen saver.
I found the string in the music ini.
It is empty but the date still show up. what should do so the date won't appear?

Try a clean install. Clear all and flash again

Did you change the times in the settings menu or the config file on the gps card.

Yes you can, but you have to flash MTCB based roms, thats it. You can flash KDL, KGL, Malaysk roms etc...
update.img contains karnel, boot, system etc and it wont change you MCU, just the OS.

There are 2 versions: 1024x600 and 800x480 both for rk3188.

i had the same issue.
what i did.
find another screenclock.apk here in the thread
update xposed-mct-music to 2.2 version and also the mct-music.ini that come with.
set 60sec instead of the 200
Now it work well with next luncher.

Storage Issue

I must confess I am not all clued up on this FUSE business, but I can't seem to install anymore apps without being told I have no storage left, yet when I check in settings storage it says I have plenty!

When you've got this black screen issue going on, does your screen also go black during a phone call?

OK, I have found the answer. XposedMTCManager was guilty - disabling it resolved all issues with no logo at boot and black screen.

@Malaysk Below is the issue and solution - could be pinned on first page. If someone can add / edit that better - feel free to do so:

Issue: black screen at recovery / no Android logo and no first part of the logo loop during boot / black screen after boot but HU working in the background (touchscreen works even though it is black) / black screen immediately after pressing one of the physical buttons (depends on model)

Solution:
1. go to Xposed Framework --> Modules
2. find module named XposedMTCManager
3. Untick the checkbox next to it (in other words - that module should be disabled)
4. Restart HU
5. Initial logo at boot should be visible now and no more issues with black screens

PS I have noticed that after installing Fuse ROM from scratch with full wipe - that module is installed but not enabled by default. Enabling it causes the issues described above. Was this meant to do anything elese... or am I missing something?

I dont know how good it is
After much convincing supplier gave rooted ( he said?!) firmware .
he also gave steps to update it without any buttons just sdcard and restart unit.
I will experiment with custom roms from here(using rk installer tool) if they does not work i would use factory firmware. As I cannot enter recovery , i would not able do wipe step according to malaysk steps.
I will get back to you later today or tomorrow .

Is nobody experiencing the home screen speedo issue (No speed) using the Jy 5.1 launcher? it seems if I kill the launcher it'll reopen and speed works fine but that's the only way I can get it working. i'm going to go through and start freezing things to see if something is conflicting somewhere as it seems not many others have this issue.

I have a KD-C0109-US-A (1 DIN flip Display) from Reseller Naviskauto with MCU Version MTCB-KLD5-V2.79.
I tried a the update from Hui Fei and got an endless Loop until I switched the power off.
Now it doesn't Boot and I try to get into Recovery with the power/Reset tricks from this thread. I think I managed it once but instead of the Recovery Menü I just got message 'no command'.

Can anyone help me what to do?
Is it bricked now?

If you change MCU it is possible that the radio stop working and there are separate files for system and mcu updates...
Why would you like to change MCU? I already explained that you can flash a KLD rom...where is the problem??

it is not always hardware...
if device reset and and ROM install does not fix it, then it is hardware...

I was just saying I have 2 units with that issue.

Can anyone tell me why a Manufacturers Update caused my Radio to have no sound and my WIFI to fail the connection to my Router with an authentication error ?

Certainly has the Klyde launcher, you just need to verify via the settings / About page when you get it and get it running.

This ROM is 5.1.1 and should work with any MTCB unit.

The problem is i do have 2 overlays now. One feom the Backup camera itself and one from the radio.

I think if there is a way to disable one of the it would probably the one from android radio as i dont have access to the camera soft/hardware...or am I wrong?
