Be warned that if you do not have a way back to original MTCD image, you might brick your unit. Do not use the MTCB image on a MTCD unit, it will burn and die.
Do not update the MCU image, it normally is OK since it governs the keys and stuff.
The Android image is the one that gets updated via the file called update.img.

is there any way to flash this in TWRP. my system (running XDAuto) doesn't recognize that i have an update when i try flashing from within OS and I can't find a way to install update.img through TWRP

first of all pleace read ALL!! the instructies. also the read me file in the files. (page 1)

I read previously in this thread (i think) that you may NOT want a custom recovery (TWRP or Clockworld). Because, if you do you will never be able to flash MCU anymore.

Follow the good install instructions in the rom package(rar) copy the update.img to a fat 32 sd card in the SD-GPS slot. This update.img is the Android portion only and will leave your MCU intact.

On my unit, I hold the radio power button when I put the key (accessory) in the car until I get into recovery.

You can also flash the rom from Within Android Settings/about.

Maybe you have a reset pinhole in front of your unit. To take you to RECOVERY, hum not absolutely sure.

The speed bit doesn't work.

Is there any way of disabling the screensaver please as I can't see anything in the settings? OR, is there something I need to do to enable the speed?

I solvedthe issue. it was the system audio level under factory setting that was to low.

Malaysk, I have an eonon RK3188 480x800 which I upgraded to your June rom this week.

Tonight I once again lost the screen. My button lights work but the screen is blank. This happened with a previous version of the rom, maybe back in February and the solution was to put the brightness mode on light not auto, however this time light is already selected.

Also this results in a blank screen in recovery which I've always considered weird.

Tomorrow I plan to reinstall your latest rom with a wipe. If that doesn't work I will reinstall the mcu as I had luck with that in the past.

I'm curious if you have any idea what is causing this.

At the 3066 1024x600 new design the mtcradio seems not be fit in the 1024x600 . the radio station name is to big. when a station like radio 10 comes in screen the text make a overlap in the buttons.

mabe if you have some time. can you ask to the creator of the radio design of he mabe can fix it?

That's so far the unique thing i can say about the rom. Radio names are way to big on rk3066 1024*600.

Hi all,

Been using this rom for half a year now. Great work!
I installed the latest version for my RK3188 800x480, and this week I also installed a front camera.
When I select AVIN, I get the image of my camera, so things are working.
But in DVR, I am not seeing anything, and also cant find any settings menu in there.

What am I doing wrong?

Also, since my update to the latest rom version, my buttons arent lit anymore, they where working beofre, any idea's?

Hello this is my system its a Pumpkin RK3188 1024X600 with android 4.4 on it will this rom work on my stereo? as you can see there is no phisical buttons so im struggling to get into recovery mode.

I do not see anything under a heading saying :MCU Version
It would of had like:
MTCB-KLD6-V2.81
So I'm think you have to look elsewhere.. The rom here is MTCB units.

sorry no stolution for that. its more mcu related i think. thats why some devices dont have this issue .
i have the joying 3066 1024x600 and i dont have this issue .sorry mate.
