[ROM][RK3066/RK3188][SD/HD] Malaysk ROMs Android 4.4.4 for any yet known MTCB-Device

Hello this is my system its a Pumpkin RK3188 1024X600 with android 4.4 on it will this rom work on my stereo? as you can see there is no phisical buttons so im struggling to get into recovery mode.

unfortunaly it's seems not MCTB unit.Atleast you can enter the recovery mode though.

sorry no stolution for that. its more mcu related i think. thats why some devices dont have this issue .
i have the joying 3066 1024x600 and i dont have this issue .sorry mate.

Which MCU version you are using?
If it's only MCU, it can be easy to fix. I'm recalling I had no issues in the past and so it seems I need to find an old good version to downgrade to.

you have a KLD mcu i have a JY if you juse my mcu you brick your device. mabe and i dont know if it works and of you brick your device you can maby juse the mcu version that works.
BUT ask first to an expert of it is posible. dont play with the mcu the risk of brick is there

How do i get into recovery mode with no buttons pushing and holding the reset does nothing it just restarts my system

Push reset button(pinhole) 10 second or so then you can enter the recovery mode.In recovery mode also use reset button (short press=select long press=decision).If this method doesn't work then ask seller.
But don't forget that flashing wrong ROM can destroy your car radio in a moment.

I'm trying to get the screensaver to MPH as well as the speedometer on the main page I don't see how to get the settings in xposed to export to the SD card.

Hi mate you need to just copy the 3 folders as in the pic to your sd card. Goto oem folder and you will see mph screensaver there install it and you will have mph.

Guys,
just searched this thread again for a solution for the rotating volume control issue (stops working sometimes and requires reboot). It seems there is no solution yet, right? Sorry if I missed it.
If someone has configured out how to work around it, or at least what may cause it, please post your findings.
It's really annoying.
(my unit is KLD-RK3066-1024X600 based)

I don't know if this will work, but in factory settings, if I set my leds to rgb, my volume control acts funny.

READ the instructions IN the .ini files in the folder. Than you will see that there a simple instuctions to change from km to mhp.

a .ini file is a sort of .txt the launcher or what ever reads there some custom instuctions. keep that in mind. the latest roms make more and more use of .ini files.

when you change something dont for get to save. and dont change the name of the .ini files

Excuse me..my question is not related to the rom but you guys seem professionals...i have seicane dvd installed to my vw which has OEM twin FAKRA radio antenna...I USED A connection cable to connect twin fakra to single input in the new dvd but the radio reception is so poor..is there any solution or specific twin fakra adapter brand to make things better?

Probably your antenna should be powered and after installing the new head unit you cut the power. Find the wire that used to power the antenna and hook it up to a 12V source.

I've tried everything but I still can't get GPS to lock after doing a new install with wipe cache and data. Couple of notes: GPS antenna is placed well and it used to work just fine so I doubt is the antenna. Also, probably not hardware issue since it happened exactly after the install and wipe data.
A couple of questions: In Settings - GPS - GPS monitor is the map showing the satellites and reception geographically correct? I see some satellites locked once in a while but they all seem to be around E Africa, Russia, India area (assuming the globe picture should be accurate) I'm in US so exactly on the other side of the globe. Could anyone in US confirm if the see the N and S America in the map?
Anything else I can try?

Awesome ROM otherwise, I love it and can't get back to factory one. Speaking of factory ROM ... that doesn't seem to work either anymore if I downgrade.

Can somebody help me please?

I try to set the radio stations name and i don't know where is my mistake. This is what i done:
- i installed mtcradio module from xposed modules
- i disabled rds function from factory settings
- i created a folder named mtc-radio and i copied the file mtc-radio.ini in it, and i saved it in Utf-8 encoding without bom.

My radio apk is the red theme.

What am i doing wrong?

Haven't seen any answer to this question, but I'm struggling with the same.
Malaysk states the folder should be named "mts-radio", and this folder should be located on the "inner sd card".
Does it have to be on the internal SD, or on the external SD closest to the touchscreen?
Does the file need special permissions set?

first of all, I would like to thank Malaysk for his fantastic job, and also all the people who contribute.

As many of us, I downloaded and flashed the last June 12th ROM firmware. It works great. But... I am facing a small problem with the radio app; I use MTC-Radio to display radio names (titles & buttons) because RDS is not very reliable. When the radio name is long, the title conceals the button and I can't change stations using the buttons ! (I can change using next/prev...)
Here is an excerpt of my /mnt/external_sd/etc/mtc-radio/mtc-radio.ini file :

Can't show you the result on screenshots because I am a new poster (first post...) but replace + with a dot in the URLs :

The 'mtc-radio.ini' file needs to be in '/mnt/external_sd/etc/mtc-radio' folder (create it if it doesn't exist).
'external_sd' is the 'GPS' slot on my MTCB, on the left, under volume button.
