I have a Volkswagen cc with the Joying 8 inch radio. I have the factory backup camera hookup to the radio. It worked fine until I flash this Rom. Now i just get the sign when it's no signal. Is there a setting I need to turn on?

Someone else had this problem and they were talking about getting an adaptor from Amazon to make it work cause only the aftermarket ones would work.

I already have the adaptor. I didn't have a problem until I flashed this Rom. On the factory Rom it worked fine.

I have the same problem (and same unit) - backup camera worked fine until the last ROM, but now displays a white screen with the yellow 'no signal' indicator. Not sure what could have changed in the last couple of ROM's here, but my wife really misses the backup camera.....

Yeah it's for my wife as well. I got tired of her getting the message low on storage so I flashed lol

What is your question? Installation of GPS app to external or radio app?

Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
hi, my question is very simple. How can I make a navigation app on the external SD card to install because the internal memory is not enough space. Very easily... ;)
And all on a Pumpkin car radio with Rom software from Malaysk. Thanks

If you have installed one of the newer Malaysk ROM's with FUSE support (all rom's after December 12th 2015 I think) then you should have either 8Gb or 16Gb of internal storage for installing app's. If you only have 1Gb then you do not have the latest FUSE ROM's. Can you check and see which ROM you have installed?

or it is possible to expand the internal memory, currently this is only 6gb.

Copilot GPS allows you to install to a external memory storage.

Hi, it is possible apps on the external SD card or the external GPS card to install? I want to install on my RK3066 Android Radio of Pumpkin a new navigation software, but this is not possible since the internal memory is too low. I have the latest Root of Malaysk on the radio. Thanks for Malysk, great job.

Thanks for the answer. Installs is following ROM: update_4_4_4_FUSE_800X480_RK3066_37_MAL_17_03_2016
But there are only shown 6gb memory.

For sygic nav. after apk installation and before downloading map you have to move the sygic folder from root/internal sd to the root/external sd. then download maps.

For tomtom go. after apk installation and before downloading map, you have to modify 2 files with text editor. there is a thread that provide a link with explainations. search for tomtom to sd card. Then you can download map on your external sd.

Hope you use one of these.

Hi @sefal01, I had same issue last week when I updated to new ROM, let me say this, it is not because of the ROM but the way the external storage is set and TomTom uses most common way for external storage and our units not, it is something TomTom should fix. I could not download 6.4gb Europe map but followed this here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66398472&postcount=3120 and I was able to download 6.4gb without any problem

A side note: when it says reboot in the explanation make sure you turn the device completely off and turn on again, because TomTom managed to change the path in xml files every time when I did a soft reboot. So turn sleep mode to 30 seconds, wait till HU shuts down completely.

To show you it is not ROM issue but TomTom issue, here is another topic on TomTom forums:https://en.discussions.tomtom.com/t...roid-156/cannot-install-map-to-sd-card-978261
With OEM ROM I didn’t have this issue because my external SD was set different. I did read a lot about this, that’s why I came to this conclusion. I might be wrong :)

Just so you know not every app supports the data to SD Card. You can go to the apps settings menu. You will see an option to move to SD card, if that option is blurred out that app CAN'T be moved also if the apps is required to operate or auto start it will not due to being on the SD card. This will not move the maps for the GPS app, you said you have igo, I used to have IGO and all the maps were on the GPS CARD not on internal.

Screen problem

I installed last version of rom (FUSE_1024X600_20_RK3066_MAL_22_05_2016) on may 1024X600 RK3066 but I have problem with screen. I included photo of it. What can I do?
hxxp://prntscr.com/bsc1fj
Size of displayed image don't fit to screen.

EDIT:
I checked screen resolution by hcttouch code but IT"S NOT real display real screen resolution. If you want to know it check on seller page or use this method:
all you need to know is your screen resolution - if you have a 2 column settings screen its 1024x600, if you have a list across the whole screen, its 800x480.
Now I installed 800x480 version and everything working perfect. Thank you Malaysk for you great work.

Malaysk this rom is the best rom yet! I installed it on a 3188 1024x600 JY yesterday from another type of rom. It started bothering me when I installed apps and would run out of space on the internal storage. But all of the features are amazing! I have installed other roms from other devs and this is by far the best one yet! there is a lot of time and attention to detail that you have put into it and I thank you.

Can anyone explain as to why my headunit keeps beeping?

I am using the Malaysk June ROM.

The beeping starts after I have been driving for about 5 minutes. I get three beeps and then it goes off for a while and then starts again beeping at random.

There are no error messages.

I have shutdown apps etc to troubleshoot, however, it keeps happening.

Near MUC
Yesterday I faced a (small) issue:

when having Radio on and Navigate (using iGO), the navigation sound ist extremely quite.
When using BT or Media Player, the sound is perfect mixed and navigation can be heart very well.

Another issue: Apple Music still not working in new version 0.9.11
