The RK3066 is supported, but only KK not L, link is at the beginning of this thread.




Nothing is wrong - this is how these units work - they show android logo and car logo.

It should be set to a Mazda option in CAN Bus, assuming you have the CAN Bus decoder, if you dont set it to "no".

There is no such unit as an "Eonon GA-5163F" Eonon are a reseller, not a manufacturer, you probably have a Klyde unit - to check go to settings/about device the letter code after "MTCB" or "MTCC" will tell you what unit you have.

The problem is that on the CANBUS option, on factory settings, I have like 4 or 5 options for Mazda and I dont know what I should choose for my Mazda 3 2010?
I tried 09-Mazda&opel option and still the same. It doesn't use the Mazda Logo on boot. My MTCB is ZD.. The MTU version is from Dec 2015. Do you know if there is or where I can find a new version of my MTU?

This units, after I bought it on the 31/1/2016 lasted for 3 months and then went dead. Could not power it anymore. Went to Eonon support, very very bad support by the way, and it took more then 3 months to send me back the unit fixed. They said that they replaced the motherboard but its strange that the Malaysk ROM was intact. I thought that the internal memory (the 16gb) was on the motherboard...

Without going into histrionics it was an absolute fault, that option only made it worse. Ive got some track record with these units and long experience in a lot of IT amongst other things, believe me the units were complete lemons. MTCB KLD VW specific 7" screen with hardware buttons and dials, rk3188 quad canbus interfaces to be more specific.

Anyways, Im liking the 10.1 double din MTCD unit much much more, I do 5 - 6 days a week long days driving, very useful things to have in a working vehicle, unlimited 4G data via the phone, handsfree, spotify and sygic are perfect for the job. Malaysks work finishes the units usability off in the way the manufacturers should have.

I was just trying to establish which units you had, they were Klydes. Sorryyou ve had problems, I ve got 2 and they have their foibles but I had none of the problems you did. Glad youre happy with your MTCD unit.

i installed Malaysk (update_5_1_1_FUSE_800X480_RK3188_02_MAL_02_07_2016_MTCB) Rom on my Pumpkin RNS with RK3188 and MTCC-KLD6 V2.91. Everything works fine but the Headunit is booting every time now. If I starte Engine ist booting, but ist also booting again if I only turn to ACC, i see my Homescreen some seconds and the it`s booting. If I start the engine, even after a few minutes, it`s booting, too.

In the System i set the "standby" time to 30 minutes.

The boot Logo comes also two times, after approx 10-15 seconds i`ll see my homescreen for two or three seconds and then the boot Logo comes again for approx 20 Sec.

Insert a thumb drive into the front USB port (One that lights up when its got power)
You will see when the Head Unit loses power as the thumb drive will go out.
If its still 30 seconds then your MCU doesnt support delayed power off or your settings are not sticking

Thank you for the support, I`ll try this. But before installation of Malaysk Rom the delayed power off was working.
I think I`ll do Nandroid backup for my apps and settings and install the Malaysk Rom again.

Yesterday i've installed the most recent version of the Malaysk ROM, which i've download from huifei.fs-fileserver.de/content/firmware/KK%204.4.4%20Custom%20ROMS%20Malaysk/Malaysk%20DualCore%20RK3066/1024x600/2016.06.12/. The ROM have been installed without errors, but now, when i turn the radio on, the unit gets stucked in the logo screen. Even the logo screen is ****ed up, there are some glitches on the bottom of the screen :crying:.

I've got a factory recovery image, which i've installed 2 weeks ago. But now, after i've installed the last version of Malaysk ROM, the unit can't even install the factory recovery image. When i put the factory image or any other one in the root of the SD card, the unit passes the logo screen, but the screen gets black and didn't show any update indication or image like it did before. I've waited about 15 minutes with the factory update and see that the unit do some reboots, but looks like the firmware was not installed, the unit don't work anyway. When i take off the SD card from the unit, it got stucked in the logo screen anyway.
Looks like the update system is ****ed up or something.

The way to install firmwares in my unit is just placing an empty update.txt along with the update.img file in the root of the SD card and just turn the unit on.

Are you trying to get the unit to pick up your update image automatically, why not boot into recovery and force it?
Should be plenty of info on the first page about how to get into recovery on different units

This is the update method provided by the manufacter, they have never provided me a way to boot in recovery mode.

i try to find an answer to my question but i didn't find anything...
I have this device:

• RK3188 - 800x480
• Malaysk ROM (June 12, 2016)

my question is if this ROM support 3G USB dongle and what type of dongle.
Someone can help me with the choise of dongle and help me to connect it?

No, not really. Have you held down power and reset, released reset, then released power, heard 2 beeps etc to get into recovery ?
