in the radio app, i have 3 questions
A : i use force immersive and the upper band does not rise completely
B : arrow don't work, it's normal?
C : i have only FM1 and AM...before there was FM2 and FM3

i have edit mtc radio.ini and write 12 stations in "memory" like Malayk says in this post.

I also have a strange question.
When the rom is fully set it.
Would it be possible to de-root the rom in order to use sky go on the device, or would this disable a lot of the roms functions

You need an app like RootCloak or Hide My Root, or theres an Xposed module that will hide root for the apps that dont like it.

Tried Hide my root but that causes sky go to error.

Dunno I m afraid, I just saw it once whilst looking through the Xposed modules available.

Why is it called "GPS" launcher ? Does it display location in a widget when GPS is being used ?

@andromeda got it right, it is because it shows the gps speed.

I think it gets your speed via GPS for display in widgets and/or screen clock? I see a lot of people that can't get the speed to display and it's probably because they don't have that module, or haven't enabled it. Or I'm totally wrong, lol.

you are right. In order to get it to work you need the xposed module gps-launcher. For the screen clock you need xposed module mtc-music AND the file settings.ini in /external_sd/mtc-music, in the latest firmware of Malaysk (Jan 2017) it should go /internal_sd/mtc-music

I got problem installing and I ended in bootloop. Tried to clean install more than 5 times from usb and cannot reach the system just bootloop.
Does anyone has the same problem or anyone knows how to fix this?

P.s. I have latest MCU: MTCC KLD9 v2.98 I hope that's not the problem.

I installed the MCU: MTCB KLD2.81

This solved the Problem.

You can try to install the MCU: MTCC KLD6

maybe this solve the Problem too

Oh thanks, but then I will lost my radio stations with older MCU...if I try to reboot my unit from recovery after setting all up...

The factory settings changed. I hope you took images of the settings before you have done anything.

Factory code is usually 126.

You can also save the MCU settings as an MCU config and re-apply them after update in the same way youd flash a ROM or MCU. I m not sure this will help @Johny DJ though, as I think he was referring either to the fact that only MTCC KLD9 v2.98 MCU save radio stations, or that he will have to re-programme each saved station unto the memory after the update.

Thank you for hard work! I would like to use this ROM (and even donate) but blue and red colouring of apps is not fitting my car dash lights (which are greenish-yellow).

I would not be impolite to ask for specific green themed apps.

But would ask if you have plans to produce blue-transparent apps you had in old June ROM? That colour is fitting much better green and also blue dash lighting so it is suitable for many users.

Your MCU settings have messed up. Go into factory settings using the password 126, change BT module to "BC6" you will need to experiment with which radio tuner type to set it to because you do not know what it was origianlly, try "TEF6686" and "TDA7706" first a they are the most popular.

having afew issues with sound and also lost viper sound sound from settings.(must admit my own fault)

Ive tried reinstall without wiping but doesn't give me the viper options back in settings
Is it ok to do a clean install by wiping and clearing data and cache.

You should of done that, I think he has mention to do that in either case.
ViperFX is in the settings. The listing location is the same, but out of place. Follow what he posted and you should be good to go.

Hi and thanks for the reply.
In his instructions for those that already use his roms it said not to do a wipe.
I was trying to improve the audio quality but messed up and somehow removed viper form the settings menu.
Problem was that mtsound removes the stock equaliser, and because I havnt done the hardware mod a lot of the apps features don't work and thefore couldn't get the audio correct.

Think ill start from fresh and wipe and install
