[ROM][RK3066/RK3188][SD/HD] Malaysk ROMs Android 4.4.4 for any yet known MTCB-Device

Hi mate,

1. what do you mean exactly?
It's like this mod is not installed by default after the ROM update and we need to install it manually or it is unnecessary as some other app/settings can do the tricks or it is just not working anymore?

2. Another question from be before updating - do we still have PPPWidget in this update? It was crucial for my 3G dongle to work without un-plugging and plugging it all the time...

3. I also saw some pages back that you are using Titanium Backup for apps only and wanted to ask you about how to use it properly? Almost a year ago I was using this to make backups of everything but after updating the ROM and using that backups it always turned out that all of the settings that TB is restoring are so old that the whole system was totally unstable.... so I stopped using it. Unfortunately, installing and configuring all of the apps from scratch after each update is painful...

3. Before I upgrae rom, I do a backup of the apps I have. Saves time from we downloading again. app-data usually locks in all info. If out of date, playstore updates.

I have now notice my wife when she calls, BT has no audio. Don't know if it an app or another issue. I will check this out today. Might be her phone.

My music app and possibly others look like they are pushed too far down. If you look at the music app pic in post 7168, the bottom of the buttons are cut off. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

TWRP Bummer

TWRP Doesn't work on these units. You need to boot into recovery or use system updates to flash.

Well [email protected]^#&*$! Anyone got any ideas to replace TWRP with the factory recovery or Clockwork Mod recovery? When I boot into recovery, it is TWRP and when I use the update file from within the OS it boots to TWRP to finish the load.
I was ignorant of this when I loaded TWRP.

Correct, but if I recall, the newer rom has no folder called mtc-keys. I can be incorrect.

If you have got a rk3188 go here and follow the instructions to the letter or you might get some problems.

If you find malaysk 5.1 rom thread you will find how to recover from brick hu. I think the link is not working properly.

Exactly the same issue with lockclock.apk
Plus I have weather condition icons (for example sun, or clouds), have City name but not temperature. Why?

Here you need to change to temp and condition. (Where only condition is selected here; 4th line)

Just heard up of those who have a s7 phone. If the upgrade to nougat comes up, don't do it. It has broken my Bluetooth. Both on the HU, and my uConnect in my other car.

I'm on 7.1.1 and I have no problems connecting with the HU via bluetooth.

To late I have the same issue. I.m try to go back to previous version on s7 and make a clean install on HU .
