Someone once posted a script for setting the screen brightness - does anyone know where I can find it? (Was waaaay back in the original thread)

Screen dimming and auto screen dimming is a app on Jan ROM I think it was volume control. There whas a section screen. Look at that. If it's still there.
You can also try MTC module on xposed there is also a section screen dimming. That will solve the problems

The most awesome solution is Twilight app Playstore. And better for you eyes. Alot of options :good:

Forgive me if this has been discussed already, I could not find it. I just hated my head unit (Eonon 5153) to the latest February build. It installed easily and runs smoothly, but it seems I'm missing the status bar. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ok, Nougat issue resolved on my S7. Factory reset did the trick.
Backed up all stuff.
But now worth it.

Can someone help me please.
After upgrading to 02/18/17 RK3066 800x480, screenclock doesn't work anymore. Even if I manually activate it using the icon on the status bar, it shows in a split second then back to regular screen whatever it was on.

Posted using a calculator and delayed by AT&T.

Hi,
During the previous update, I had not done a "wipe" and I had exactly this problem.
After a "wipe" ( and reactivate Xposed) , that's ok.

Statusbar Clock Size

Thank you so much to Malaysk for his great work. I tested this ROM and i love it!
I think I will not be the only one that is not so young and beause of this I have big problems in reading small characters.
The main problem for me is the size of the clock in the status bar. I think time is a very important information when driving a car...
When I was using the original stock firmware I was able to download/install/use an xposed module called "Status Bar Test Size" http://repo.xposed.info/module/cet.statusbartextsize
Using this module I solved my problems (but there were others...) because I was able to increase the size of the clock font as high as the statusbar (36 DPI).
When I went to malaysk I tried this module but it doesn't work. I tried to replace the SystmeUImtc.apk file with the stock one but doing so the statusbar didn't show anymore.
I know I'm a "newbie" in this forum... but I'm sure this feature would be VERY appreciated by older guys like me...

Can I hope this suggestion will be once taken into consideration in a future release?

I got Feb 19 file for the 1024x600 direct from the server as the normal link download file did not work, also got my 4G Huawei E3276 (MegaFon M150-1) working using the v3 PPP widget off the play store as the one pre-loaded in the firmware is no longer supported, the only thing is it dose not show up on the status bar it's connected but the PPP v3 widget dose show it working so I now get 4G. Also the word document with instructions also needs to be updated as you have a external and internal folder but no instructions for the internal

Everything working great with latest version except one thing for me - I've got the new status bar settings working (Very Slick Malaysk!) EXCEPT I can't get new notifications to stay in the status bar - example, I get a new gmail email - notification with appear in the status bar, then disappear - if i pull down screen, it is available there, but I want the notification to stay visible until I clear it - I've checked and unchecked all the status bar settings and can't those to stick - I've got all the buttons and clock settings I need working, so I'm assuming I've got it configured correctly (uninstalled statusbar exposed module etc.) - any ideas? That's the only thing I can't get working on this latest and greatest - and Viper Audio literally rocks - big difference for me! Thanks Malaysk!

Use XposedMTC or if you have a KLD use MCU MTCC KLD9 v2.98.

so I am kinda new to this and wanted to upgrade to 5.1.1 below is the initial information.

Its a Roadmaster AN-111 GMC (if it matters)
It was MTCB - KSP 2.86
upgraded to MTCB KSP 2.89(KSP_11-28-2016_1.99_dmcu.img)

Firmware was 4.4.4_11032016
I installed the KLD - 2.1.1 december update
now the system boots up but does not show any display, if i plug in a USB it starts to play songs. All hardware button BEEP when i click so does the buttons on steering. I
I can go into recovery but I continuously receive the no sd card - cant post a picture yet



any chance of recovery please?

Did you do a full wipe/factory reset when you installed it.

Well, you need to go to the MTCB/MTCC 5.1.1 part of the forum.
Did you update using Mal's or some other rom. If it is not the ones supported in this part, you should search xda for the rom you used.

If you did by chance you used @dsa8310, Malaysk, or Booroondook's, you might want to go into recovery and go to the 6th option to clear cache.
You should of done a wipe when you installed the rom and clear cache (2 steps)
