Yes you can flash the ROM without the MCU. Just put on the sd card (gps card) the image of the ROM and simply push the power button and reset button, and after 5 seconds release reset button. Select there flash the rom and that is it.

You have to be connected to internet(playstore) or having superSU apk And busybox on a pendrive or SD card
1 - type *#hct#root# factory settings
2 - download them or install them both superSU And busybox from usb\sdcard
3 - then reboot

I didn't have any problems.. Try to search this in google and choose first one: 'google play store connection error techkhoji'Anyone experiencing issues accessing play store after installing this ROM?
Connection error 99% of the time
Tried clearing cache, clearing data, removing and adding Google account, can't seem to sort it
Thanks
Did you install the right image file, according to screen resolution? If not, try again with the right one for your device= Screen Resolution: 800*480. As i understand your device uses chip RK3188 (mega.nz/#!1opHWSDJ!VP3mnT0frlXc-3j8c7gpZ7_w6ryeVqIDHwddALJf5v0)hey, i tried to install the custom rom. Now the LED Panel stucks with "INIT". It seems not be supported. I want to restore the old firmware. But my nanodroid backup of system seems defected. Is there everybody who can provide the original firmeware for such a deivce? sorry for my bad english.

Thank you for the information. The custom rom is running, but i dont want the INIT malfunction of the led display. Therefore i want to install the regular firmware. But my backup of the old firmware is broken. Do you have a backup of the firmware, which you can provide?I have the exact same device, under a different brand but identical otherwise. It is a KLD device and should be supported.
It is a bit tricky though because sometimes the screen doesn't open on its own during the update. It was touch and go for me, I had to reboot to recovery using software and then it appeared stuck on unit during the first boot. I had to repeatedly hold the power button over and over, it finally went to recovery where I selected reboot and it booted up fine.
The secondary LED display itself appears to be unsupported in the Malaysk rom, however and will always be stuck on INIT unless a fix is discovered.
I can only suggest you try the reset procedures over and over. Try to get to recovery, where you can try re flashing the ROM. I could never get it to auto flash on mine so had to flash from recovery.
Also, it isn't clear on the forums, but don't flash the MCU on any of these devices if you don't have to. This radio actually comes with a newer MCU than any available here. The only reason to flash an MCU would be for fixes if you're already having a problem.

I don't have a backup, sorry. It didn't occur to me beforehand that the firmware would have had this difference from other kld devices or I would have done a backup.Thank you for the information. Thank you very much.
