[ROM][RK3066/RK3188][SD/HD] Malaysk ROMs Android 4.4.4 for any yet known MTCB-Device

Does anyone know of any PX5 units that support fast boot and have android 8.x? I cannot to seem to find any 8.x units w/ fastboot. Are they calling fastboot just the sleep option our 4.x units have? I was assuming meant that'd it'd sleep indefinitely, not be limited by the MCU timeline of what I think is 4 hours.

The new launcher from JY (Android 5.1.1) April 30, 2016​

1. Changed the full name of the launcher, you can now simply copy the folder System/Priv-app or set as a normal application.
2. Removed garbage - now the application takes 11 MB (was 95 mb)
3. Layncher modified to allow 800X480 (1024 was all good)
4. Added the weather on the main screen.
5. Other corrections and additions.

Does anyone have working links for the 5.1.1 launcher mod, because the huifei server looks down??
I like the other launcher better than the one currently on 4.4.4.

I have flashed update_4_4_4_Google_Service_800X480_RK3188_23_MAL_24_07_2018_MTCB ROM.

Basically where it will boot up in 1-2 seconds after sitting for a day or more. LIke an extended sleep/standby. I'm trying to find a device that is a px5 which has an MTCD/E and has the buttons/design like the image below. I found some but they are all joying and apparently joying no longer uses the MTCx MCUs. I currently have the MTCB version of this and some apps are no longer working properly w/ android 4.4.4

I rather see units with a standard sleep function that you described before and to be honest - I have never seen any with that "fast boot".
As for the 2nd question - did you try Aliexpress?

If the new ones actually boot faster I could deal w/ the defined standby but I did like that fastboot option which allows it to boot in 1-2 seconds always. It just has to be the same design as what I have in the pic above which may be hard to find in MTCD w/ more modern HW.

PX5 boots much faster. Cold boot on my unit to fully operational is like 40-50 seconds, so it's not a big deal.
And don't worry about shopping on Ali - Chinese guys are very friendly and professional - if the unit wont work - they either send another one or give your money back. I am buying a lot of items there and was never treated badly even if there was any issue with the item (although it sometimes takes some time)

I've purchased on aliexpress many times. Going w/ amazon affords me many things.

1. I can return it easily to US w. free return shipping if there is an issue (I've had many HW Issues w/ these right out of box so this paramount)
2. I can get it shipped to me quickly
3. Seller protection is undeniable.

If anyone knows of MTCD/E units that use the microntek MCU with the same design as the image I sent please let me know where you see it, even if aliexpress so I can get a model #. And if it comes down to it and only aliexpress has this then that's where I will go but it's not my first choice.

I think those are all Joying or rebranding joying no? My understanding is that the joying units are no longer MTCD/E. At least that is what I'm being told by both Joying and someone here.

What exactly does the rocket ship "speed" icon in quick settings tray do? Rocket Player fails to find music upon startup, but if I hit the speed up button to clean up processes then go back in Rocket Player finds everything. Is there anyway I can call the rocket ship Speed button from tasker to do it automatically on boot? I haven't been able to find an actual app for the speed button. Thanks for the help!

It kills apps.' and processes.. I don't think it'd make sense to do that on boot as not much has opened quite yet. run logcat and see what runs when you press it.

I didn't see anything useful in logcat, it actually seem like it hung. No new information was displayed after hitting the speed button.

Please, help me! I have a Joying MTCB (RK3188, 1024x600) headunit with Malay 5.1 firmware. It's very slow. Can I downgrade to Malay's 4.4.4 ROM (e.g. RK3088 1024x600 version 25)? If yes, how can I do?

Yes you can down grade to 4.4.4 RK3188 1024x600 just download it extract it the copy the image file to a ad card and put it in the GPS slot and goto settings and software update then it should find the image and click on wipe all and install.

I would not recommend doing this. Most manuf (Joying also) had a hardware upgrade in order to use 5.1 so logic would dictate it'll brick your unit going backwards.
