[ROM][RK3066/RK3188][SD/HD] Malaysk ROMs Android 4.4.4 for any yet known MTCB-Device

Hi Guys,
I have started the XMtc service(automatically starts at Boot), and set the dimming to adjust accordingly with the GPS Position(the sunrise and the sunset are updated correctly), but the brightness/dimming remains at the fixed value that I set it manually.

Any suggestion?

I'm referring to what wcbray said in post #1636. "U have to place the update.img and the mcu.img on the gps sd card" for the ROM update.

no. no problems. well actually, yes. I can't seem to get the statusbar icons to disable. I've disabled the features I don't want, then restart the UI, but nothing happens. The icons linke the home and back buttons are still in the statusbar and functional, even though they have been disabled.

Do you have activated the xposed framework and the 'status bar" module?

Come to think of it, it was not installed, because it gave me a warning about soft bricking or bootloop possibilities. And I had not yet created a system backup.

I update my Head Unit Rk3188 (Pumpkin) it works fine, but today my screen freeze and doesnt show anything, music is stil playing but knobs are without functionality, the screen is black. After reseting work it again like it should be. My question is, how can i fix this problem because i dont want to see this problem again.

USB is also ok, there are 2 ports, the one that is for 3G dongle is used only for that or phone screen mirroring.
Use the one that is for USB data and its marked with elipse in the end.

MCU should be JY-2.73, thats the latest,
If so you don't need to update it.

Wonder why they say that, because I can use my 4G LTE on any of the 2 USB ports and works, but then again, im using PPP widget 1 (not 2) and removing the usbmodemswitch files from system/bin and system/xbin and maybe they are using a specific USB port?

I used a usb thumb drive not too long ago on USB 2, but update.img only works on USB 1. Thats what you mean?

I am not able to read two USB memory sticks at the same time. Below are my findings.

First. I reformatted two different memory sticks to ensure that they had no errors or faults.

When both USB ports are occupied, only the first stick inserted would read, and the head unit only ever see the stick as USB storage 2.

When a USB memory stick is in USB1, and a wifi USB dongle is then inserted in USB2, both devices are seen. However, if the wifi dongle is inserted first, and the memory stick inserted second, the memory stick will not read.

I have tried all I can to get two memory sticks reading at the same time, but the head unit simply won't let me. I also installed the ROM from Malaysk dated Feb 12, 2016, and tried all options again. Still won't read both memory sticks at once.

I know that recovery menu sd card in gps slot and usb stick from data usb port.
I didn't try to update firmware with USB port that is for 3G, so I cannot write about that.
In recovery menu it is written, USB or SDcard.

Strange.... Check in your System / Storage, let me know if you see 2 USB Storage and what you see when you have then inserted.

I have never seen an option or reference to USB1.
