[ROM][RK3188][HD] Malaysk ROMs Lollipop 5.1.1 for any yet known MTCB-Device

Theres an option to install from usb in recovery.. You cant install from usb if you use the "updates" section in settings.

Just to make sure I don't do anything stupid.:
1. Will flash from recovery using USB
2. I'm downloading the following - update_5_1_1_FUSE_800X480_RK3188_04_MAL_12_09_2016_MTCB.rar
If I understood the thread and instructions correctly, this is all I need and should be good to go. Any advice is appreciated. Cheers.

Yep as long as you have an RK3188 unit with an 800x480 res.

anyway now that the alexdark's server has gone, we're all ****ed up..all the archive with mcu/factory rom etc etc is gone...so sad..... :\

Hey guys,

I'm planning to flash this ROM on my newly bought Pumpkin unit. Here are the important information:
RQ0368E
MTCC-KLD6-V2.97
Android 5.1.1 800x480
RK3188

1) As i've understood, this ROM is fully compatible to my device, correct?
2) I recognized, that the fileserver crashed or was blocked or what ever. Do you guys need a backup from my system to set up a new database?

3) Installation when coming from STOCK
- make backup (any good instruction for that?)
- put update on sd card
- reboot into recovery and update
- aborts with error --> reboot back into recovery and update again
- reboot back into recovery and factory reset
- reboot unit and enjoy

4) any way to go back to stock after using this ROM (asking because of fusing memory)

Aaaand it worked. wohoo... really chuffed about it. it seems so much more responsive and quick. the only thing is that i couldn't connect my gmail account but that might be due to the fact that I use 2 stage login...I'll try and sort it out in a bit. Cheers for all your help all.

Yes its compatible.
You dont have a Pumpkin unit, theres no such thing,they sell units made by other companies, you have a Klyde MTCC unit.
Just re-flash stock as you would flash this ROM.

I've managed to get google services up and running but the Music player app freezes and crashes. I'll try again later and see if i can get it sorted, or maybe get another one running. Just thought i'd let you guys know.

Have you looked in factory-settings (PW=126) and changed the typ of your radio?

You have to go into factory settings and change the colors a bunch of times. Restart each time you change color. Then the element option will show up in settings.

No, not the logo. Look for RGB setting
