[ROM][RK3188][HD] Malaysk ROMs Lollipop 5.1.1 for any yet known MTCB-Device

Plaster told me it was not compatible with my machine when I upgraded to this rom, but it was 4 in the morning so I might of got it wrong, I will be trying again when I go out to teach in 10 mins.

Tomtom go didn't work in my HU. Most probably due to long s/n.
On the other hand, tomtom 1.4 is working but only it happens the voice instructions are cut so they don't say the full instruction but only some cut words. Strange and I don't know how to solve it, any ideas? In 4.4 it was working fine, the same version with same data.

I have a problem. After the instalation completed my screen was black. I was waiting for around 5 min and tried to enter into recovery mode which didn`t work. I`ve a erisin 4046ge with stock 5.1.1

Is your unit a mtcB or mtcD? if it is a D, your in a wrong place.

can someone confirm tomtom go is working on this rom? in 4.4 i had to use a workaround with xposed....

indeed it doesn't appear in playstore, downloaded apk and couldn't install it (parsing error) couldn't install from recovery the lollipop xposed module to figure it out as i have stock recovery. anyone managed to get xposed working or tomtom yet?

Quite a few posts on xposed in the other MTCB 5.1.1 thread (in this subforum), you might want to follow that one if you aren't already.

will search for that one. just flashed with flashfire but xposed didn't work

thanks had that already found, but no xposed solution yet, also i suppose there is no other option to change device sn to get tomtom working without xposed, don't have much time now but I'll look into this later to get tomtom go working

Looked on this page, and one of the images near the bottom shows the settings info page. it's not clear, but it could be a MTCD unit. In which case you have put the wrong software on. Try asking the seller which unit it is and try asking in the MTCD forum.

I am a believer, this ROM works great.. the only observation using the Car launcher the Notification Bar contains Car Launcher and MPH, is there a way to remove that?

I gave it a go and tried just copying the image via root explorer to the sdcard. Went bad, so I reformatted the sdcard and did it correctly.
Works fine, but I will go back to may22 and wait. It does work, but the added audio enhancement help my system out greatly.

Just for future reference, there are tons of apps that will extract apk's for you, just search apk extractor in PS.

Does the correct 5.1.1 LP dated 7-6(416MB) by Malaysk for the update for a JY 3188 1024X600 rar file have the word 'OLD' in it??? Just don't want to brick my head unit. Is there another later file with 'NEW' in the name?....just confused by the label of 'OLD'....thanks!.....or anyone that has upgraded, answer to what is the correct file!

I didn't get prompted for the Launcher to use when I installed, and I'm not sure how to find the new JY style launcher with the speed display. Anyone know how to change the launcher on this 5.1.1 image?
