Nico,

Go to settings, then factory settings, enter the password (usually 126) then select the other tab. On that screen there is a drop-down menu where you can select various Bluetooth protocols. Test them until you find one that works. You need to reboot for the change to take effect.

It's specific to each device. Contact the retailer that you purchased from and they might be able to tell you which setting to use.

I received the 27-AQVW71 at 12.10.2016.

- seems to have better microphone than rk3188 (but no external microphone possible)
- I had problems with the correct canbus settings. factory settings didn't work in my VW, even it's a dedicated VW-device. took me some time to find this out. a more experienced user might got the solution faster (was my first android radio).

- no rk3188 hardware. it has an allwinner a23 1.5ghz mali-400 quad core http://forum.xda-developers.com/android-auto/mtcd-discussion-questions-development/android-6-0-head-units-t3482616

I sent it back and bought a rk3188 instead.

install 1024x600 today, look great i always like the malaysk rom with smaller icon, but what push me a way is that i can barely use google maps, i have 1gb ram system, boot up alone use and system use more than 60% of ram, when i turn on maps use 85% of ram, and it so slow to response, any idea why

Edit the statusbar.ini file that you copied to your GPS SD card, then enable the statusbar xposed module.

I think on my firmware to 5.1 are 2-3 people think it is not appropriate to continue the firmware from me. There is an excellent firmware from the DSA. I lay out today when the latest version 1024X600. I see the reviews - very bad. I do not think it makes sense to continue. I have very big problems with the work and salary for 2 months. I need to urgently look for a new job. I am very grateful to everyone who supported me. I love you all very much and thank you. I wish you all work without a problem your device! Good luck everyone. I really appreciate the awesome ROM development from yourself. I've been using the September version and have fixed all the small bugs. This is an extremely hard system to build a rom for since is uses dozens of different models, built by dozens of different companies. With that added you must know that these bug reports are not a direct attack to yourself. They're here to help yourself and others fix small errors to make this rom even better. I will be flashing the Newest version tonight an will report back over the next few days how shes running.

I dont use your ROM, for a variety of reasons, but it seems a shame to stop it just because of the criticisms, although if you have other comitments, then fair enough. I always assumed your ROM was not as fast as some simply because of all the extra features you put in it, maybe removing some would help ? - some people have said that booroondook's ROM is much faster if all the extra launchers are removed for instance, so if some people removed some of the things they dont use from yours it may be faster ?

Hi all,

I'm used to my rk3066, already flashed several time with the kitkat version of malsaysk rom.

Now my wife got a rk3188 and I flashed the latest 5.1.1 rom. everything working fine, including all of the mtc stuff, but I can't find where to setup the audio app I'm using.

I'm using rocket player and the wheel command doesn't work. on my rk3066 I use rk3066 headunit to setup the music app, but it seems this app is not available on rk3188?

How can I use an other music app on this rom please?

Flashed the newest version and it works great! More bloatware than last version but was easily deleted with sdmaid. Everything works and is stable! Thanks. Would make the move over to DSA's ROM but won't since the partitions don't get fully fused together. I love the 10 + GB of free space after loading a few GB in maps and apps. dsa's ROM is not FUSE, it just has 3GB app/data partition, that ll be why.
