It doesn't matter. Change from RGB to red or blue, then reboot and see if you have a new settings menu option. If not go back to factory settings and change back to RGB and reboot. Keep trying.

finally... it worked. I did not find the elements app but was able to switch "LED" in factory settings to another color ("R"). This was showing "RGB" wich actually means white color.
Shame on me, why this took such a lot of effort. THX for your assistance!

The only thing that seems to not work is the "screen off" button in the status bar.

I tap it but nothing happens whereas all the other icons work just fine. It used to work fine with the factory ROM and since I spend a lot of time running from battery without my engine running, it's an important feature.

Can anyone help me get this working again please?

Thanks, I don't think that's the way it used to work but I have now tried what you suggest. It still doesn't do anything.

What is the most current version of this rom? I'm trying to find some of 2017 but I can not find it. I do not know if it's not there yet or I'm a little clumsy and I can not find it. Could anyone put a link to the post? Thank you

I'm looking for the same thing, as my MTCB (flashed with an old malaysk rom) is slower every day, I was thinking about doing an update with the latest version.

This version (5.1.1) seams to have his last update in 29 October 2016.
This is strange because the 4.4.4 version have been recently updated on August 15, 2017.

What is the latest update for the 5.1.1 version?

And what version do you recommend? knowing I just want to use only two app: waze and deezer, and that I want the quickest boot and the smoothest use?

My Unit is incresing/drecreasing volume by itself. Maybe GPS speed related? Can i turn this off. Its annoying

yes, thats what seems to me to be the case since it doesnt happen with the car stopped.

If you have this application (Headunit) installed on your radio. Open the application and look for settings called speed edges.

Flashing 4.4.4 will not unbrick a unit.

MTCC KLD6 v2.97 & 3.06, MTCC KLD9 v2.98 all work with most (but not all - KLD5 wont work and some KLD and KLD2 wont either) KLD MTCB/C units.

MTCC KLD6 v 3.06 is attached.

You posted in the correct forum, just the wrong thread, but it doesnt matter - MCUs are the same whether you have an RK3066 or an RK3188.

Thanks again. It booted fine, but I didn't have any radio audio. I did a factory reset, and tried various radio selections in the factory settings, but couldn't get any audio.

Do you know the correct selections for radio in the US, and the procedure to get it working?
