Hello, I'm currently on RRv3 with its own kernel and recovery, seems there's no Misc Nandroid settings in CWM or maybe I lost it in some sub menu?

Make sure your on Philz kernel to include preload

So no /preload.
On a actual kernel there should be /preload options.

Nope, RRv3 is JB XXLS7.

That's the point, RRv3 it's a JB XXLS7 firmware (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=33225786) and I don't think its own Philz kernel have an option to include /preload in backup. I think that actual Philz kernel support that feature, but not a XXLS7 firmware.. Am I right? Any workaround?

EDIT: Silly me, RRv3 doesn't use preload partition, nandroid works just fine. Just tested official PA, funny but I'm not confortable with Android Vanilla UX, gonna test RRreloaded next!

Battery unfriendly!

Lamentably short battery life, much shorter than Sweet Rom, which I'd been using before I flashed this Rocket Rom. Can anyone help?

Uh yeah there have been significant battery life changes since LSZ. Flash something newer

guyz i followed all the steps of flashing rocket rom on my brother's note and m stuck at boot screen...

i flashed latest philz kernel.. still cant go past gt n7000 screen ...

i just flashed stock via odin.. will give another try..its my brother's note so i was a little worried.. (coz i made no nandroid backup)

I apologize mate for trouble. just checked md5.. it was a mismatch.. my brother downloaded it and didnt said me that it was once interrupted until I asked him.. embarrassed. . :/

@les_garten: Eybee did not make a kernel - he build a rom.
Still one of the best here - if you like TW-based roms.

If you are looking for another kernel. try c.o.h.
If you are looking for another (newer) rom - go to not-i's Sweet rom. It's very, very sweet! :good:
