Bro I will suggest you to have a clean flash and flash some smaller gapps like mini or smaller
If it it still not working Report me back I will try to help you
Bro thunderstorm storm Kernel is no more a recommended kernel
Better to stick with Stock kernel
And if you talk about Viper than Viper is known for its great battery life and it depends on stock kernel
So basically custom kernels are not recommended in viper...
I like this new update, it includes latest security patch and everything works and feels fast. Battery usage for me is about 10% - 12% use for every hour or screen, so I'm usually getting around 8 hours of screen time before I have to charge it. Very good work by developer so far, I hope it gets updated every so often. For those interested I did a clean flash with mini Gapps.
I am not able to reduce the IN-CALL volume. The volume slider just moves the UI-Elements but does not reduce the volume.
Thread cleaned. Lets keep the personal bickering out of this thread.

I installed the rom worked fine at first boot then installed gapps still worked fine bt the things go wrong when i set screen lock and fingerprint. One i set screen lock the i restarted my phone it won't boot in system its booting in recovery again and again...
It's happened with viper os 5.0 now same happened with 5.1.
Eagerly waiting for solution I wanna use this rom..

Batik Recovery used.
Clean flash (factory reset)
Open g app( mini and micro) both tried.
I installed the rom worked fine at first boot then installed gapps still worked fine bt the things go wrong when i set screen lock and fingerprint. One i set screen lock the i restarted my phone it won't boot in system its booting in recovery again and again...
It's happened with viper os 5.0 now same happened with 5.1.

Sorry to here this but I would ask if you try to use clean flash before starting anything if no then you should have one more try with it
If yes then the possible coz the throwing back to recovery is you might have flashed something or the other which coz this issue
You should once just try to recall from what position this problem start coz mainly
1 . Flash ROM
2. Gapps
3. Magisk
4. Xposed(not recommended)
Are the general zip flashers I don't think that has any issues
Better should try once more with these latest roms
Also if your problem is not getting solved better flash Miui Nougat ROM once more and then start again with flashing
I have faith that your problem will be solved

Leme Tell you my process..

Sorry bro I think there is some issue with your device and if FP is working on viper , you stay on RR for a while and wait for new viper update
Oh yes..! Finally i figured out the problem...
When i was setting up pin and finger print it asked me for "secure" your startup priviously i trapped on yes this resulted in encryption of my data and phone won't boot after restart and also twrp asks for the password.. Secure boot checked means phone will ask for password at boot but unfortunately on viper os despite of asking for password phone won't boot again.....
But how can I fix the headset problem without using Thunderstorm?
Viper os is awesome but viper os update 2018.12.14 Fingerprint scanner not working my Rosy device I hope this solve next update I love viper os it's so stable and fast thanks viper os team God bless your team ? and keep it up
