Hey anyone there can tell me that is there any issues regarding rom?
And yes can you answer my questions please:?
1)is there any problem with battery life if yes then i should flash which kernel?

2)what about gaming performance??

3)is gcam working??

4)can i root it?if i can then by using which magisk version and using which recovery!

5)and yas which recovery is needed to flash it?or we can flash directly with twrp

Ok. So I installed Pixele Experience then ViperOS then Resurection Remix 7 and then again ViperOS.
It work nice but I have a problem with root.

TWRP (twrp-3.2.3-0-rosy) not mount vendor and magisk is not working.
OrangeFox is able to mount vendor but magisk also not work.
SuperSU try to do something but after restart it do nothing.

I wanted to install substratum but it seems there is no way to do it.

Thanks for help. I will try to fight with my phone again.

You have to install the Magisk zip in the recovery then manually install the Magisk Manager apk

Try Batik recovery or TWRP from xDoge (3.2.3-1). And magisk 18.0.

Sounds like you didn't flash actual firmware and opengapps nano.

Seriously........ Read the first post instead of just asking to have your hands held for you. It's outlined in detail in the OP and it's no different than flashing any other rom on most any other device.
I'm not trying to be harsh but at least try to progress on your own

I know to flash a normal but j saw people talking about some firmware thats why i asked

Oh, well that's fair enough.
To flash the firmware, just go to this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-5/development/firmware-xiaomi-redmi-5-t3810089 and flash the latest firmware for The phone we loving refer to as Rosy (that's the devices actual model name/number).
After that then just follow the steps outlined in the OP and you're good to go.
It's a fantastic rom, you're gonna love it. Sorry if I came across as being harsh, I just can't stand when random people just ask for things to be handed to them.

I have flashed different firmware
I have flashed viper OS with Full gapps package and aslo RR both doesn't have face unlock and fingerprint but they were working fine before encryption

Sure you are using a treble enabled recovery (batik or twrp 3.2.3-1 from xdoge)? And "different firmware" included latest stable one? Because usually there is no encryption problem.

I am Undead6687. And
Yeah, I have flashed latest Viper Os and RR 7.0
And I am also using batlik recover and I have also tried this in Orange and Red fox recoveries and also xdodge twrp.
So as far as I think there is no problem in recovery.
I have now flashed miui using batlik recovery and the Fingerprint is fine.

The Fingerprint is not working on Custom ROMs but works on stock MiUi.

I am using latest MiUi global stable firmware and everything works fine.
And also flashed Viper Os. The Fingerprint not working.

Like I said in my last post I am using MiUi 10 global stable ROM and the fingerprint works fine and I just got face unlock by clean flashing Viper OS. But no luck with fingerprint

Maybe if I install MiUi 10 fastboot ROM and then try clean flashing Viper OS then maybe will it work?

Can anyone please help me with this mi flash tool thing? I really don't know how to flash a fastboot ROM.
