Corporate Global Address List

I'm on 2.1 Royal Ginger. I just opened my outlook account in email, typed in a coworker that is not in my add book and it instantly pulled it from the company server.
That is better than my thunderbolt from work with sense as I have to ask it to do that...
Hope that helps.
Yeah, I know it works in email, but I'm trying to do it in Contacts. Our corporate server has everyone's numbers, email, and info in it and I'd like to be able to add a person into my contacts from the phone. I was able to do it through Outlook that is tied to the mail server, but I used to be able to it on the Stock ROM. I think there was a "Company Directory" search in Contacts.

Thanks!

Eagerly awaiting 2.2....

This might be a question related to people having signal droppage issues. I'm not experiencing the drop itself, but sometimes when I get back in range of a logged wifi network, it won't automatically connect.

I have to turn wifi off, then back on again for it to connect to it. Not a big issue, but kind of annoying when I try to use wifi as much as possible to keep my mobile data usage down.

Anyone else?

I occasionally have this issue or when connected to wifi it will randomly disconnect and not reconnect until I turn off wifi and turn it back on. I have my phone set to not put wifi to sleep at all, so it should stay connected even when the screen is off that way I can turn off mobile data and my apps can still sync but save some battery life and data usage. I haven't figured out if the problem is the ROM or something else, nor have I found a fix for it yet either. But it doesn't happen often enough for me to care too much. Just a minor inconvenience, still love the ROM so I'm not going to complain too much. =)

Potential solution for MMS problem. I called t-mobile and they made me aware of a potential problem that might be affecting others. if you have the same sim car you've always had if you started out with an old flip phone years ago and gradually upgraded to eventually as we have now a 4g phone she made me aware that sim cards are also limited to 2g/3g-4g and since i have a sim card that came with my first phone i dunno 10 years ago i have a 2g card and this is why sometimes mms works and other times it doesnt because obviously when the network is using 2g they go through but when it tries to use 3and4 g networks it isnt able to download so i was advised to bring my phone to tmobile tomorrow and upgrade the simcard to 4g capable card and she said this should solve a wide range of comm problems from mms to dropped calls

Thats what I did, I got a new simcard when I bought this phone and I transferred all my data from my G1 simcard(which I used with my MT3G also) and that seemed to work....
