In rocking this rom v1.2 well, but ran into an issue. If I'm in a call and have a call coming in that I don't answer ice that line ends it ends both calls. Any ideas why it happens, I'm also using Faux's LV .9 kernel and the newest radio .30. Thanks in advance.

call blocking apk's

I had the same problem but it was related to a call blocking apk from the Market. Once removed the problem was fixed.

Many call blocking apk will do that especially if you are running gingerbread. some of them will actually say "gingerbread fix" but try for your self before buying to see if in fact it is working properly.

I use root call blocker pro. Works for me.

Awesome, thanks. I'll try that. I'm using Mr. Number right now.

Edit: Just fyi, figured out the issue. Problem is with Mr. Number and the call block feature set to pickup and hangup. If send to voicemail is selected everything is fine.

My RoyalGinger backup that I made a week ago was seriously broken when I tried to restore it yesterday. Have any of you guys had problems where restoring backups sometimes just doesn't work? I tried restoring it twice and it was broken both times. For example, it took several minutes to get past the boot screen (RoyalGinger logo) for the first time, and then when it came up, my launcher was really broken with no desktop showing, and the dock was back to default. When opening the app drawer, I couldn't close it after. Home and back buttons didn't work, and the coloring was way off on things. Had to go back to another backup of another ROM.

This happened to me once before after I made my first backup of the stock ROM. When I tried to restore it, it was completely broken too. I thought maybe that was a weird issue with just the stock ROM, but I guess not. Anyone else have issues like this? Know what causes it? Thanks

Yea I had the same issue before but my problem was that I didn't have enough free space on my sd card. I needed at least 1GB for the back up of the stock rom.

My experience with NANDroid backups is that they are hit and miss. I'll have times where they work perfect and times when everything is jacked. It doesn't have to do with SD Card space because I have lots of free space. I don't know of any way to garontee a perfect NANDroid, just have several and hopefully one will work. This has been the case for multiple ROMs I've made backups of. Sorry I can't actually fix the issue, but my bet would be some sort of minor file corruption causing chaos.

Good times.

I got the 3.0.27 update OTA and I didnt even notice until I read somewhere that the new market version was rolling out. You can just install the 3.0.26 version and you will get the update soon anyways

Anyone know if 2.2 will be out soon? i got a problem. i was going to instal the v6 supercharger script and it called for gscript lite and busybox installer installed on the glacier. i did then when i went to the busy box installer and tried to install the recommended ver. it gave me busybox does not have the propper permissions or somthing. so i fixed permissions and googled the error and also saw clearing superuser cache might help but i deleted the superuser data in application manager. no root explorer doesnt work , my wifi wont connect and I have a multi colored X icon for wifi instead of my blue magic circle gauge so i atleast confirmed s-off still there so my problem is i really dont want to re-install 2.1 if 2.2 is almost ready so anyone know if itll be ready soon?

As many people here, I've dabbled in different ROMs before and always go back to my nandroid of RG2.1. Lovin it.

Lately tho, my Chrome to Phone hasn't been working and I haven't the slightest idea what it could be. And my GMail doesn't push automatically like before, I have to manually go in and refresh, and it's set to sync automatically with background data enabled as well. Don't know if the 2 are connected either. Any suggestions?
Anyone? Still haven't been able to figure it out.

I was having these same two problems after switching back from MIUI.

For me, un-syncing and re-syncing Gmail did the trick for messages not coming through, but I have a feeling you've already tried that.

On Chrome To Phone, though, I went to settings, pressed "Disconnect phone", and then it finally asked for permission for the app to access my Google account. When I told it "Accept" (or whatever it was), Chrome To Phone had a toast saying something to the extent of "Unable to disconnect device"...and now it's launching links perfectly.

I know you've probably already tried this too, but with Royal Ginger the first thing I do when I find any bugs is boot into recovery and fix permissions. That might be worth a shot for the Gmail problem.
