nope power went into recovery and vol down went into bootloader and neither is working ... i flashed blue magic for 2.1 thinkin it would work t=since it was just a theme ..

go to bootloader and then select recovery. that should get you in there.

do you have a radio image on your sd card? why not use ADB to reboot into recovery?

Yeah bro BluMagic for RoyalGinger 2.1 uses the framework and apks from RoyalGinger 2.1. Flashing it over RG 3.0 replaced all the new changes with the old stuff. You will have to wait until I can get a new version for RoyalGinger 3.0. I'm not sure why you are having an issue. I have bootlooped my device tons of times and haven't had a problem getting into recovery via bootloader. Hope you get it figured out.

Theres no way he could have bricked his phone trying to apply a theme. Theres something hes overlooking in how to get to recovery from bootloader. Besides if recovery is missing or messed up, it can be reflashed through adb.

Guys, I can't stress this enough, every phone has its own personality. never ever flash a theme not built for that build. you never know what mods the theme has and what mods the rom has beneath the surface. while it usually will not brick you. you never know how you're phone will react once wrong files and apks are all screed up. so in a way yes you CAN brick you're device by doing this. especially if you do not have the tools or knowledge of how things work within the system
