i've found the coding error and fixed it on my end. it will be corrected in the next release!

there's two settings to enable to truly 'unlock'

one is trackpad wake found in settings -> cyanogenmod settings ->input settings -> trackball wake

the other one is the actual trackpad unlock found in settings -> cm settings -> lockscreen -> unlock options -> trackball unlock

viola!

Awww, be nice now, they are a young dev team, in terms of how long they have been together, and i am sure that the boot animations will change many times for the different roms until they get one that is EPIC... i am content with the fact that they are devoting so much time to the community and our roms and ports!!! keep up the good work TeamRoyal!!!

So left nexus s 2.1 rom for royalginger 1.2 did a fresh install last night then today I flashed 1.3 over 1.2 only wiping cache partition and dalvik partition and everything its running fine no fc or nothing ......what u guys think should I do complete wipe and start from scratch or just leave it and b glad it flashes over 1.2 with no problems .......

yes!

two methods:

1)

if you have root explorer (you should) - navigate to system/media/audio/ui

then rename camera_click.ogg -> camera_click.ogg.bak

(you have to be mounted r/w (click the Mount R/W button in the top right))

done.

OR

2)

download AudioManager Widget (free) from the market

link here

open it and turn the system volume all the way down and no more camera click.

(i have tested this app on this ROM yet but i know it's worked in the past on others similar and should work on this)

1.3 installed about 1 1/2 hour ago, lockscreen upside down twice, when screen goes off, wifi was on, followed all installation steps except format sdcard seems slower than the 1.2 on my phone

I have no idea what you're implying here, as this rom is the smoothest I've used. And no, it wouldn't be like this. myTouch 4G is a Sense phone, so we'd get Gingerbread Sense.
