Does the FFC work with Tango and Qik? I use that alot and wouldn't want to flash a ROM that doesn't have it! (I'm using royal thunder right now, but would like the great battery life from this ROM)

I am not sure for Tango and Qik (because I don't use these) but it does not works with Yahoo IM. It's being looked at by one of the devs here.

Aww man :/...I remember thay I 1.4, the FFC on tango worked, but my video was upside down when my friend saw me. I was just wondering if that was fixed

I love the features this rom had to offer such as stock swype, the aosop launcher, and great speed. The only problem is that it isn't very stable. I get a lot of launcher and game fc's, the screen often has problems turning on, the screen gets such in landscape often, and my phone randomly rebootseven when I'm not doing anything particularly taxing for the cpu.

Edit: it appears that done of these issues are being worked on already.

uh, you need to full wipe and reflash. this is the most stable ROM I've ever flashed on my device when installed properly.

once in a blue moon you can do everything right and just have a flash that didn't seem to 'take'. just full wipe and reflash.

after you've done all of this, if it persists id be willing to bet you have some rogue app or something running in the background that is messing something up.


AND make sure you're NOT restoring data on SYSTEM apps via titanium. this will also cause behavior like this.

some stock launcher FCs have been reported by some though the only way we've replicated in testing is when we purposely don't full wipe.

the launcher not following screen orientation settings via settings menu has been fixed in 1.5 which will be out momentarily. likely tomorrow. maybe even tonight of final testing flies thru. there shouldn't be any more stock launcher FCs after this either.

but if for some reason there is - just find a 3rd party launcher you like and remove or freeze the stock one. you should be good to go.

But I hear that if getting fixed in 1.5 anyways and the other thing is that sometimes my youtube HD won't work. It'll play the sound but the video portion won't play, but it all works after a reboot so I'm not displeased at all with ROM. The DEVS did ann excellent job on this. Anywhere to donate?

yes landscape lanucher issues should be resolved in 1.5 and so should any video and flash issues (though I haven't really heard of any/many except those who upgraded to flash 10.2)

1.5 is rebased from cm7 rc3 and with fauxs latest kernel - major video driver updates. also wifi drivers and several others.

flash 10.2 has been running smooth as silk for me on webpages youtube etc.

we work REALLY hard and really long hours every week on these ROMs.

Good to know. I'm on pain old cm7 right now but I'll make sure to wipe everything twice when I flash 1.5. I'll also be sure to check my titanium backups although I'm pretty sure I only back up apps.

I have before, but I flash ROMs a lot, so it disappeared after a clean install. I don't have a fix, but most likely the issue would be resolved if you follow the ops directions for a clean install (not that you didn't the first time, just sometimes as they say the install doesn't "take" completely).

I actually wiped everything before installing this rom, and frankly, setting up my home screen and widget locker again when I occasionally restart is much more convenient than wiping everything and setting up again. Perhaps I'll do that again when the next version of this rom comes out.

yes I was working on final test build when rc4 hit though I knew it was likely to happen so I'm gonna put together a build while I finish my current one and make sure rc4 is as stable as the build I currently am finishing up.

but if any issues come up during testing on rc4 then I'm just gonna release my current build and catch it on the next update.
