also quick note before I forget .. as an added bonus for all you guys' patience on the delays and unforseens on this release .. I cooked in the SD card/MMC read cache tweak at the last minute before zipping it!

it's supposed to increase r/w to and from the SD card aka better access and performance.

go give a little scroll thru the gallery app and even more so when you open a picture from said gallery

...just to pour a little extra magic dust on the neverland ranch in a bottle

After instalation first boot is still on splash screen for a little more than 5 mins now. That normal with first boot on this version?

Not for me, first boot went through in about a minute and a half, second boot in under 30 seconds.

Yeah, re-installed it and first boot went about a min, must have been a bad flash =P

I saw that honeybread was not included, read the OP and it said it has problems. I installed it from the DL on Hax's OP and I'll let everyone know how it goes in a day or so. Just FYI

tried going into Root Explorer and changing the mount to R/W but got same message.

I now have 3rd degree burns from the speed... it... hurts... so... good...

Yea had this small issue but fixed it:

Set default launcher to anything but stock launcher

Set system folder to R/W

Reboot phone (my guess it was running in memory)

Then try the script

I'd try again but I just manually deleted the two files, so now it wouldn't be able to find anything there. I'd re-flash and try it for testing but I JUST finished getting everything set and I have to get my kids up soon.

Thinking about trying this out but I JUST put CM7 NB 31, sdcardfixup, and faux kernel 2.3, then 2.4.4, and (when I finally found it in his post) 2.4.6 cause my phone was irritating me on stock and RG 1.5 wasn't out when I did this before I went to bed last night...looks like I gotta do it all over again.

No issues so far. Well, the splash audio was a little loud and the default ringer scared me but other than that, smooth setup. Great job guys.
