Oh man! I was able to write a different PRL. This ROM is beautiful. I've had the Samsung keyboard FC on me a few times, which I'm monitoring (it hasn't happened for awhile now). Thanks for the awesome ROM!

The Bug:

Like what has already been said the bug occurs when you turn your phone off then plug in the charger. You will see the big battery icon in the middle of the screen but it never shows the green charge level and scrolling indicators at the bottom... It will simply reboot your phone after apx 7 to 10 seconds. The phone charges normal while powered on.

From everything I have discovered by trial and error as well as suggestions by JLMancuso, I have concluded that the primary cause of this bug is running 4.4 TW rom with a pre 4.3 boot loader. Upgrading the bootloader to NE2 has solved this issue for me. Now the other reason this bug is happening on your rom is due to the fact that the appropriate .qmg and .spi files in system/media are simply not there. (Not sure why) Looking inside a stock NE2 rom [system/media] will show you the files I'm talking about.

I hope this better explains it. Thanks for you rom, i'm running a custom hybrid version of it right now!
How complex is upgrading the bootloader? I'm not worried about warranties or anything. Just don't wanna brick my phone messing around with stuff that's over my head. If it's a simple flashable zip, I can do that.

Think I found a bug if I go advanced power menu and I hit reboot or hot reboot nothing happens. Download and recovery are fine. Has anyone noticed that?
Reboot and hot boot work fine for me on 1.1. I had an issue with 1.0 where long-pressing the lower button didn't bring up the reboot menu at all. I reflashed and it was fixed.

I'd like to know this as well. Phone info reports that I'm on L900VPALJ1, which is pretty old. Does upgrading the bootloader have any negative consequences?

On 1.0, I used an Xposed module called, "No Wake On Charge for S5" and it worked to prevent the screen wake when plugging/unplugging. I noticed that with 1.1, it's not working anymore. I always get the screen wake. My bootloader has been 4.4 (NE2) for 1.0 and 1.1.

Yep. I get that too.
Did you guys full wipe or wipe flash dirty?

EDIT: Scratch that. I found it. Correct me if I'm wrong but if you select reboot first it works. If you do hot reboot and then reboot neither one does anything? If you shut off the screen and try reboot again it works?

Bootloader upgrade is just a simple odin flash and besides the knox counter there is no negative effects. Only issue would be trying to downgrade the bootloader. I can try and get my odin file (only sboot.bin) uploaded. Maybe it will be okay now that afh has done its updates. Before it would corrupt on upload.

Here is my dropbox link but remember this is dropbox. Hey traffic will kill the link.

As far as the bootloader goes, if you have ever taken the MK4 or NE2 OTA update then your bootloader should be fine. Like myself, if you have never taken ANY OTA then you will have on old LJC or possibly MC2 bootloader which seems to cause the no charge problem on 4.4 TW roms. You can Odin the bootloader that @jlmancuso uploads or you can just go back to stock unrooted LJC or MC2 then take the OTA's. I had chose to go back to stock unrooted LJC with flash count reset then I accepted all the updates till I was current with NE2 KK. Then I Odin flashed the newest version of Phil's recovery and rerooted using the re root option in Phil's recovery. Then I flashed a custom rom and all is well.

Last thing about the power off charging issue. Kernels can also cause this problem. I know both shift and devil devs are working to get this resolved. Since they run on multiple bootloaders and android versions they have more work to get it going but they will have it fixed soon.

This is a summary of all the things I've done to this rom to make it the way I like it. I would also consider this a Hybrid rom. LOL

S5 Launcher (still tweaking landscape)
S5 Weather widget
S5 keyboard (I customized the keyboard background, looks great)
Most all S5 apps
ChromeSyncAdapter for syncing google bookmarks in web browser
S5 wallpaper picker along with Rwilco's wallpaper picker
Android L boot and shutdown animation (the real deal, looks awesome)

Other than that I kept it looking completely stock other than my 4G icon/data arrows mod. I kept all Rwilco mods and updater apps etc.
This will likely be a good stopping point for me until I either get a new phone or @jlmancuso releases a nice update to Community rom or something irresistible.

Can you expand upon this? Is the Knox counter only a negative if you try and get warranty service? I've only read "scary" things about Knox and how it should be avoided. My phone is going on 2 years now, but so far I've been able to stay away from anything Knox so I'm a bit leery of it.

    Rwilco12's Mostly Stock NE2

As many of you know, I've spent so long dealing with all these stock ROM's and never really branched out into the world of custom ROM's. I can never find a ROM that is 100% what I want. I find a lot that come close but never 100%. So I decided to branch out and try my hand at making my own custom ROM. I got what I wanted for my S5 and was then asked to port it over to the Note 2. That being said, this is my ROM. I made it for me. I'll take requests and do what I can but ultimately I'm building a ROM that is my daily ROM and does what I need it to the way I want it to. Sorry guys, work has kept me insanely busy so I haven't gotten much done yet. :(

I have completed the process of rebasing the ROM to incorporate pieces of both @jlmancuso and @Chaz187 base ROM's and have added a few new mods. I'm planning on taking some time off next week and hope to get it out then.
