First of all: thanks rwilco for the ROM!

I'm experiencing an old issue: the dreaded "error 1500" when doing the hands-free activation or profile update. I had previously been on Omni and Carbon ROMs without data issues.

My baseband is NE2, and I'm not sure how to check my bootloader version.

Any help/hints are appreciated!

I don't think so but I just did the odin wifi fix and it works now!!

I wasn't aware of the wifi issue before.

I was going to suggest doing exactly that. Sometimes when flashing back and forth from a pre 4.3 rom to a 4.3 or newer rom, we forget to flash the odin fix. I've done it myself and forgot to flash the wifi fix and was freaking out... then realized I hadn't flashed the fix coming from a full restore to MC2.

Rwilco kudos on such a stable offering. The one thing I find unnerving is I have yet to figure out how to turn off the voice announcement when having an incoming call. Am I just missing it? Really looking forward to your update when you get the time.

How i fixed this:
Settings
My Device
Hands-Free Mode - Turn On
Open Hands-Free options, I unchecked all options under it.
Then back one screen, Hands-Free Mode - Turn back to Off.
Restarted the Phone

@rwilco12 I was considering flashing your Rom but before I make the jump if you are releasing in the next two weeks I will wait. If work has got you covered up I was going to go ahead and give it a wirl. I'm on jlmancuso's stock NE2 build. Overall a very stable and solid Rom.

Thank you for all you do for our Note 2's

So it's not quite done yet but I've got a build that needs testing. It's my "base" with a few of the performance mods. It's pretty stable but I'm needing the second opinion on whether or not the performance enhancements worked and it's not the placebo effect. The other fun things will be added later. I'm uploading it now and will need two or three testers. Any volunteers?

When I am at work, one minute I'll be connected to the wifi here (wpa2-aes 'n' UniFi APs network) and then the next minute wifi will be disconnected. When I go into wifi, it'll just be sitting there saying 'authentication error' on the wifi network that was previously working fine. It will then prompt me to enter in the wifi password again with it saying (unchanged) in the box. if i tap 'forget', it'll dismiss the passphrase box, turn off wifi, wifi will come back on, and then it'll say 'connected'.

edit: removed babbling text

    Rwilco12's Mostly Stock NE2

As many of you know, I've spent so long dealing with all these stock ROM's and never really branched out into the world of custom ROM's. I can never find a ROM that is 100% what I want. I find a lot that come close but never 100%. So I decided to branch out and try my hand at making my own custom ROM. I got what I wanted for my S5 and was then asked to port it over to the Note 2. That being said, this is my ROM. I made it for me. I'll take requests and do what I can but ultimately I'm building a ROM that is my daily ROM and does what I need it to the way I want it to. I'm sharing with everyone but I'm putting myself at your mercy to play nice. So without further ado...

    The ROM:

Look forward to the Updated Rom, This one is my daily driver and is the most stable i have tried in a while

Exciting news. When is it going to be available?

+100000 This rom works flawlessly on my phone, very exited for an update!!!
Sorry guys, work has kept me insanely busy so I haven't gotten much done yet. :(

I have completed the process of rebasing the ROM to incorporate pieces of both @jlmancuso and @Chaz187 base ROM's and have added a few new mods. I'm planning on taking some time off next week and hope to get it out then.
